4. Campaign Adaptation
Spent is an online game where the player is put on the shoes
of a homeless person. The game consist in the making of hard
decisions regrading how to get money, food and shelter. The
game could be easily adapted to our target by creating a
decision-making game (rpg style where different decisions
get you to different endings) about people living in a disaster
situation. The hard decisions will try to get the player in
empathy with the affected by the tragedy and after inviting
them to participate in the Ericsson response program. Also
the game could also be focused on the mission of the volun-
teers in a place of disaster, about all the decisions and obsta-
cles the volunteer will face. However we have to transmit
rather than the difficulties, the feeling that they are helping
and doing something to aid the most needed (Make them feel
like heroes). In this way we can attract workers to join the
program.
