Homework While many elementary teachers feel homework is essential to academic development, there are others who feel the nightly burden of countless assignments is depriving children from play, sleep, and exercise they need for proper development in neurological, physical, and emotional progress.

4. Law and Ethics As a teacher it is my “Duty to Report” neglect, abuse, bullying, hazing, sexual harassment, and injury of minors under the Arizona Statutes as required by law. Failure to report any of the above incidences to the appropriate authorities may result in censure, suspension, or loss of certification.

5. Dynamic Student Interactions Principles DSI are strategies that facilitate vocabulary acquisition and text reading, particularly of striving readers.
