• Jesus made a very confusing claim once
• “ I AM” Was the name Jehovah, the name of God
• Jesus had just claimed HE was God
• But we know God spoke to Jesus
• The Nature of God is a Paradox
• God is ONE
• God is Three Persons:
• The Father
• The Son
• The Holy Spirit
John 8:57-59 Then the Jews said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?“ Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” Then they took up stones to throw at Him John 12:28 "Father, glorify Your name." Then a voice came from heaven, saying, "I have both glorified it and will glorify it again."

• God used a special name for Himself (the most common name in the Bible)
• ELOHIM Created all things;
• God the Father created all things
• God the Son created all things
• God the Holy Spirit created all things
• THEREFORE: Elohim is the name of God in Three persons
Genesis 1:26-27 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness...... So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them" Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God <'elohiym> created the heaven and the earth" Isaiah 44:24 Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb: "I am the LORD, who makes all things, Who stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself; John 1:3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. Hebrews 1:2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds Psalm 104:30 You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; And You renew the face of the earth.

• Omniscient (all knowing)
• Omnipotent (all powerful)
• Omnipresent (all present)
• Eternal (unconstrained by time)
• 7.
• God the Son has these qualities:
• Omniscient (all knowing)
• Omnipotent (all powerful)
• Omnipresent (all present)
• Eternal (unconstrained by time)
Mark 2:8 But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned (in their hearts) Matt 28:18 (Jesus said) "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Matt 28:20 “…..and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” 1Timothy 1:17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible…..

• Omniscient (all knowing)
• Omnipotent (all powerful)
• Omnipresent (all present)
• Eternal (unconstrained by time)
1 Cor 2:11No one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Psalm 104:30 You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; Psalm 139:7 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? Hebrews 9:14 (Christ) through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God,

• Throughout scripture it is testified that God is three persons
• God the Father is called God
• God the Son is called God
• God the Holy Spirit is called God
• The Bible does not have the word Trinity, but instead uses the expression “GodHead”
Mark 12:29 Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one." John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" John 4:24 "God is Spirit" 1 Cor. 3:16 "you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you“ I Cor. 6:19 "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit" Acts 17:29 “….. we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device."; Romans 1:20 "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead , so that they are without excuse"; Col 2:9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily
