Titanium Energy Advertising
• When advertising my energy drink I have to be careful not to use unsuitable and offensive content towards
my target audience and other companies.
• For example if I use another companies patented logo, I am in violation of the code of compliance unless
they have given me permission and the material is to be used in the context of an advertisement which
would be authorised by a third party such as Google Adsence.
• In the department of harm and offence, marketing communications must not contain anything that is
likely to cause serious or widespread offence. Particular care must be taken to avoid causing offence on
the grounds of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.
ASA
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) is the self-regulatory organisation (SRO) of the
advertising industry in the United Kingdom. Its role is to regulate the content of
advertisements, sales promotions and direct marketing in the UK by investigating
complaints made about ads, sales promotions or direct marketing, and deciding whether
such advertising complies with its advertising standards codes.
My website does not breach ASA regulations as I
took the pictures myself and I was bestowed
permission by the creator of Rasta Energy to use
his logo in my website. Also, I was given
permission to use the social networking logos;
Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
It also has a common website layout with a
horizontal bar and navigation buttons that take
you to different pages of the website and there is
also a search bar.
Copyright
Copyright law is a legal concept giving the original creator sole rights to the ownership of
the product. Nobody can use a piece of copyright work without permission of the owner.
The designs of my website and the content involved is solely mine. I designed the website
and adhered to the copyright laws. The website has unique generated content and I have
not copied designs or contents from other websites. The photographs I have taken are
primarily my photographs. Nobody else can use my designs or images I have taken without
my permission, if they do they are in breach of copyright laws.
