This presentation deals with the
usage of the verbs Make and Do. I
will give examples of each in
context.

1.Mum, I had a seven in the Math exam!
“You shouldn´t make do with such a
mark!”
2. Make your bed before you go!
3. Everybody is screaming! Why are they
making such a noise?
4. I hate you! You´re always making fun of
me!
5. She is always making such a fuss for
the pettiest things you can imagine.
3. MAKE
6. You should make up your mind and decide
to whom you´re going to marry!
7. It doesn´t make sense what you´re talking
about. It´s too bizarre!
8. This work is brilliant. This makes a
difference!
9. They have all made themselves
comfortable waiting for the tea.
10. I´m not sure if I would like to make a trip
with you.
4. MAKE
11. When I saw how he treated her, I made
it my business all at once.
13. Calm down and don´t make a fool of
yourself.

15. He´s made a fortune selling houses.
