Cape Town plays host to a Durban meets Jozi collaboration, where Maggz and Nasty_C are expected to
heat-up the ever so chilled Mother City. Marimba Restaurant and Cigar Bar is the place to be for hip hop
lovers and fanaticson Friday, 26 February2016.
Nasty_Cis quickly virallingout to fill the sound waves, and this is the first time that the 19 year old
rapper, producer and song writer from Illovo Beach (on the South Coast of Durban) performsin Cape
Town.
On the other hand Maggz is no new comer to the industry, having shared stages with the likes of Tkzee,
HHP, Jozi, Da L.E.S, Nas,Busta Rhymes,The Game.
This Boogie Boutique event is brought to you in partnership with PowerPlayEnergyDrink.
“We are really excited about the partnership with Boogie Boutique,” says Avukile Mabombo, Marketing

world on the Break Out album.

About Nasty_C
David Junior Ngcobo, who is mostly known by his stage name, Nasty_C, is a 19 year old rapper, producer
and song writer from Illovo Beach on the South Coast of Durban, who’s sound is quicklyvirallingout to
fill the sound waves of Durban.
Raised by his father and step-mother, following the passing of his mother when he was 10 monthsold.
Nasty_Cstarted rappingin 2006, at the age of 9, havingbeing influenced byhis older brother who was a
producer (at the time), the youngster eventuallymastered the process of musicproduction. With T.I
Beinghis favourite rapper, he decided to try puttingvocals on the beatshe wasmaking, at first it
sounded like an exact copy and paste of T.I’s rapsbut in time the artist developed his own style and way
of rapping.
The name ‘Nasty_C’ was given to him by the first producer he worked with. Mid 2012, at the age of 16,
the artist was signed byZyne Marcus (manager of rap crew, FreeWaySociety at the time). Nasty_C
would go on to gettingsigned to Durban based artist management , Free World Music (managed by Zyne
Marcus, Kyle Cain and Justin Williams), the artist was amongst the number of amazinglytalented acts
signed to the artist management.
