    1. Introduction: Scott: Hello and welcome to tonight’s news with Andy, Ben, Zack and myself Scott. Script for Hoy: Andy: Cycling superstar Chris Hoy won a surprise but overwhelming victory in the vote for the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year for 2008. Scott: Hoy, 32, admitted he had only hoped to coming third in the contest but the triple gold medallist at the Beijing Olympics easily beat Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton and Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington. Ben: Becky and Lewis were the clear favourites, said Hoy who polled 283,630 votes compared to 163,864 for Hamilton and 145,924 for Adlington Zack: The cyclist added it is a huge honour for our sport, and to be a Scottish winner. Script For Dizzee: Scott: Rapper Dizzee Rascal has been arrested following an incident involving a baseball bat, according to police. Andy: The Mercury Prize winner, real name Dylan Mills, was detained on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon in Sevenoaks Way, Orpington, Kent, at around 3.30pm on Friday. Ben: A police spokesman said: A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon. Zack: He was released on bail to return to a south London police station later this month. He has been bailed until later this
    2. month. A spokesman for the star later refused to comment on the incident. Script for alexandra Zack: After a long 3 months the x factor has finally finished and the winner was the amazing Alexandra who won a 1million pound contract Ben : The 20-year-old from Islington, London, who made an unsuccessful bid to be in the contest three years ago, was widely praised for her final performances. Scott: She sang with her idol and US star Beyonce, and performed her version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, a sure bet to become the Christmas number one. Andy : Northern Ireland teenager Eoghan Quigg finished in third place. Zack : Burke, who has landed a £1m recording deal, was very emotional after hearing the news, but eventually said: I am the happiest girl alive.
