CANDIDATE
For this I decided to choose a student from the same
school as me that did a different piece of coursework
to mine.

2. This shows that he has
considered that his first current
idea had flaws and therefore
thought of another option.
I think that changing his first
choice was a good idea as he
states that there was little choice
of original ideas if he followed all
of the conventions. He then
decides to do something different
to other students, with his ideas
being original.
The fact that he has chosen to
do one of his ancillary tasks
online is a good idea as it will
reach a wider range of
audiences, such as the
younger generation.
He also shows that he is
attempting something new and
not sticking to what he is
experienced and essentially
good at.
The fact that he has noticed that there is a gap in the media
area he is studying and is going to fill it is a good thing as it is
improving the range of audience reached.

3. The fact that he has shown his initial
idea and stated that there are
changes that need to be done
because it doesn't reach the target
audience (16-30) due to a middle
aged man being on the poster shows
that he knows where he has gone
wrong and also shows he knows how
to correct and fix this dilemma.
The fact that he wants his billboard
to be humours also shows that his
target age is aimed at a younger
audience.
He is discussing what things
need changing and how he is
going to change them which is
a good aspect to his blog as he
is showing was in which he will
improve.
The idea of changing the prop from a cup of tea to something more
associate with a young person is a good idea as it could relate to
the audience a bit more.

4. In his evaluation he shows that he has
achieved his target audience as the
people he asked said it does appeal to
them.
He also shows that he took in
suggestions from the target
audience to make the billboard
more appealing to them and even
considered them.
He shows that he has taken time
out to collect a lot of audience
feedback and has actually listen
to what they have told him. This is
shown as he quotes a audiences
feedback.
The fact that he has researched advertisements and has found that one of
the common conventions in adverts are sexual references. This is
because sex sells and attracts the audiences attention, with his products
target audience being old enough to understand the references it will
appeal more to them.
