What is ECM?
ECM (enterprise content management) is a strategy of professional information management.
As a result ecm shifts information into controllable and manageable resource that supports both mision
critical and back-office business processes. With ECM any information that organization collects and
processes (regardless of its origin and form of fixation) is available for everyone and utilized across the
entire organization for value added purspose, throughout its entire lifecycle, for all the employees and
in accordance with specific security policies. ECM also provides organization with compliance policy
tools that allow to meet regulations, procedures or industry restrictions.
