2. Happy New Year!
A New Year’s resolution is
a tradition, in which a person
makes a promise to do an act
of self-improvement starting
on New Year’s Day.
There was a study done in 2007 by Richard Wiseman
from the University of Bristol, involving 3000
people. 88% of people who set resolutions fail. Only
52% of people who set resolutions are confident
they will stick it out.
3. Not Surprising…
To “do an act” = behavior.
95% of all behavior is controlled by the
subconscious mind
To change behavior requires changing
subconscious mindset
5. Age-Reversal Coaching Curriculum
heavy training on changing mindsets or re-programming the subconscious mind
Affirmations
“I only eat healthy foods and snacks”
“I am an excellent listener”
“I always strive for excellence in my
work.”
“I am a wise and frugal money-manager.”
6. We coach holistically…
We align the mind the body and the spirit with
whatever result we intend to create.
The mind is the focus on the intended result
“I only eat healthy foods and snacks” My intention is a slim healthy body
“I am an excellent listener” My intention is close harmonious relationships
“I always strive for excellence in my work.” My intention is to be highly valued
for my skills and diligence
“ I am a wise and frugal money-manager.” My intention is to be financially
independent
7. The body gets involved when we act.
We consciously eat only healthy foods and snacks.
We listen carefully to what is being said, as well as what is
not said and where the speaker is “coming from”.
We strive to improve the speed, quality, accuracy, reliability
and any other factors that add to the excellence of our work.
We educate ourselves about the best practices for money
management and follow those practices religiously.
8. Spirit Means Having Faith
We do not get depressed when we don’t lose
10 pounds after a week of eating healthy.
We don’t stop listening carefully because of a
miscommunication.
We continue to strive for excellence in our work
even though co-workers tell us we don’t have to
do all of that.
We continue to manage money wisely even
when it doesn’t look like much is changing.
9. Ten Age-Reversal Resolutions
•Print on 3 x 5 Cards
•Read several times daily
•Allow yourself to act on the affirmations.
•Expect to look and feel decades younger than your
chronological age.
Each of these affirmations is backed up by scientific studies that
indicate that over time these activities will improve health, reduce
stress and increase your joy of living.
