• 1. Dawn Cottage: Build and Share Week 54, All According to plan
By AuroraDay(Aurora)
• 2. We’ll Start with the floor plan layout as requested in the brief. I added the closets when I built this house and customised them to make them look like closets.
• 3. This is what Dawn Cottage looks like zoomed in. Those who know Latin will realise that Aurora is Latin for Dawn. It’s a standing joke in my family.
• 4. Ignore the completely Random build tools, my camera shots are being annoying today. Anyway, I fenced around the bin and popped a gate in. To be honest I don’t think our sims would appreciate a great big bin stuck right in front of their doorway. I know I wouldn’t!
• 5. Here is where the mailbox is and if you will follow me this fenced path leads to the back of the house. There is actually supposed to be a tree there but it has faded while I am taking pictures!
• 6. You go through this gate here and follow the entire path along to the back of the house.
• 7. So it’s around this way.
• 8. Down this way
• 9. Eventually you end up at the back door
• 10. Back to the front door, and now you get a tour throughout the entire house
• 11. When you first come into the house this is what you see, but first we are gonna look at the opposite side of the house.
• 12. Over here is a small living area with a TV, bookcase and easel. You can just see a bar area to the left of the bookcase.
• 13. Here you can see the bar area and most of the kitchen
• 14. Here is the side of the kitchen that contains a stove and a refrigerator.
• 15. Here is a sink area and a few counters for preparing meals
• 16. Now we go through here, I couldn’t make out what this was on the plan so I made a small dining room.
• 17. Here you can see the small dining room, it has a small table with some stools around it. There is also a modern painting.
• 18. The Dining Room Also has a great view.
• 19. Back to the hallway, the first room we will check out here is the main bathroom.
• 20. Here you can make out a toilet and a sink
• 21. To maximise space there is a lovely corner bath from the stuff pack.
• 22. Between the two bedrooms, there is a closet, (just for prettiness not for use) and a small toilet.
• 23. This bedroom is for a child, this room contains many store items so please make sure you check that you have them all.
• 24. Here we are, as you can see the room has a great view out onto Sunset Valley’s Maywood Park area. The lucky child will also have a computer.
• 25. The walls are a neutral blue and the furniture suits both a boy and a girl.
• 26. Turning back towards the door you can see there is another closet in here, as it was on the plan.
• 27. The final stop on our tour is the master bedroom that has a private bathroom.
• 28. Here we are, there are two closets in here.
• 29. Here is the other side of the room, I believe the CC is transferable but if not, it is the Nola Bedroom Set by Angela at TSR which you may be able to find at Paysites Must be destroyed.
• 30. In here is the bathroom
• 31. Here is a sink area, with a place for the ladies of the house to put on their make-up.
• 32. Over here is a toilet area near a window...but luckily it’s away from the prying eyes of the neighbours.
• 33. Finally, this is the bathtub in the master bathroom. I hope you enjoyed this tour and have many fun hours playing with Dawn Cottage. I also hope that your sims enjoy it!
