  1. 1. PYROCMS It is an Open Source Content Management System It is built using PHP and Codeigniter
  2. 2. Content Management System <ul><li>Web Content Management is a Software which provides website authoring and administration tools designed to allow users with little knowledge to create and manage the site content.
  3. 3. Most Content Management System use a database to store content or meta data.
  4. 4. Presentation layer displays the content of website visitors based on a set of templates.
  5. 5. Most Content Management Systems used Server Side Caching to improve performance. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Follow MVC (Model,View and Controller) Pattern <ul><li>It works on Model, View and Controller Pattern. It is a Software approach that separates application logic from presentation. It permits our web pages to contain minimal scripting since the presentation is separate from the scripting
  7. 7. Model- Represents Data Structures (Our Model classes will contain functions that help us to update, delete and search records in the database).
  8. 8. View- It is the information that is being presented to the user. It is normally web page.
  9. 9. Controller- Serves an intermediary b/w the model and the view and other resources need to process the HTTP request and generate web-page </li></ul>
  10. 10. Pyrocms Installation <ul><li>Create a database in Mysql and then type the path of your pyrocms in the browser. (http://localhost/pyrocms/installer)
  11. 11. The following page display. Click on step#1 </li></ul>
  12. 12. Server Related Information <ul><li>Fill the database related info and then click on step#2 </li></ul>
  13. 13. Database Server Related Information <ul><li>Everything is working fine. So click on the step#3 button </li></ul>
  14. 14. Permissions <ul><li>File and folder permissions information will be display for the pyrocms folders. These folders must have R/W permissions. Click on Step#4 button </li></ul>
  15. 15. Database Settings <ul><li>Apply database settings </li></ul>
  16. 16. Confirmation Message <ul><li>Confirmation window will be display in which user name and password will be display. Click on the link at the bottom of the web-page. </li></ul>
  17. 17. Login Window <ul><li>Log-in window will be display.
  18. 18. Enter your email and password and then press on log-in button. </li></ul>
  19. 19. Admin Panel <ul><li>The Admin Panel will be display. </li></ul>
