• Practise research, teaching and communication as well as conduct exhibitions and
publications concerning cultural heritage.

National Board of Antiquities: Main goals for Pori Art Museum as a regional art
museum (2014-2017)
• Develop integration between art museums and art field in Satakunta.
• Improve documentation processes specifically concerning contemporary art and
develope possibilities for regional collection policy.
• Promote availability of information about fine arts and visual culture.
