Formatting a Powerful Email Course
  Email courses are simple
    Write 5-7 emails on one narrow topic
    Load them to your Autoresponder
    Automatically deliver them over the course of 5-14 days
    Include paid offer in final email
    Let your subscriber know when she will hear from you
     again
    Invite her to subscribe to your newsletter or a new email
     course
    The most common model involves using your email mini-
     course as a sign-up incentive.

Formatting a Powerful Email Course
  Begin the autoresponder sequence with a “Thank you” letter
  describing what they can expect over the next several days.

  This includes:
      How many emails they’ll receive
      What the interval between emails will be
      How to “white list” your email address so they receive all
        parts of the course
      An invitation to send questions or feedback, with
        appropriate contact information
      How to unsubscribe (your Autoresponder should
        automatically insert this in every email)
      When they can expect your next email

  Give one tip per day. Keep it
   simple and short. Follow the same
   visual and written format (make a
   template)
  Dazzle readers with one strong,

Creating Subject Lines that Get Read
  Subject lines are always
   crucial
  Subject lines should be
   powerful
  They should also appeal to a
   deep need
  Promise your reader what she
   wants most

Creating Subject Lines that Get Read
   The principle of repetition

       The first part of your subject line should be re-
       stated every day
       The second part should be specific and unique to
       that day.

   Repetition creates a feeling of security

   It reinforces the overall topic in your reader’s brain

Step Four:
How Not to Get Thrown Away as Spam
   Here’s   what to avoid:
        Don’t use exclamations marks in email
         Subject lines
        Don’t use extreme punctuation
        Never use words like “money” or “free”
        Avoid over-the-top adjectives like “amazing” or
         “super”
        Don’t be “clever” and use symbols to “fool”
         the Spam filters (E.G. “Vi@gr@”)

Step Five: Your Content
 Write in your own words

 No matter how serious the topic,
 your attitude should be that of a
 close friend sharing a “secret” with
 somebody who is incredibly special.

 Write as if you’re speaking to one,
 single person.

 Consider purchasing a Private
 Label Rights (PLR) email course
 from a reputable PLR site – then
 reword it into your own “voice”.

Step Six: Getting Them to Buy!
  Ideally, avoid putting “buy” links in
  your first two or three emails

  If you would like to include a link in
  every email, do so in a simple,
  repeated-daily P.S.

Step Six: Getting Them to Buy!
   Prepare” your reader for your offer in the final email


   It should feel utterly natural to offer them the chance to
    upgrade, join a membership site, buy your eBook or
    whatever course of action you want them to take

   When you do finally present your money-maker link, it
    should feel like the only logical conclusion to your course.

   And do “spell out” what you want them to do next (as well
    as testing your link!)

Step Six: Getting Them to Buy!
  Add an incentive
  Make use of the principle of
 exclusivity
  Offer something the general public
 will not receive
        A discount
        A special coupon
        An exclusive bonus
        “free” access to a private
         forum

 Your email course should always be a necessary step in your
Sales Funnel.

 In other words, the most effective emails (and email courses)
are carefully researched and planned.

 Remember that the most important elements of maintaining
any relationship are building trust and nurturing it by staying in
touch.

towards creating a strong bond with your subscribers.
