GaN will allow new applications for new markets
§ In 25 years, the Bipolar devices market are merely grown or shrunk. MOSFET and IGBT
technologies have brought new possibilities exploited for new types of topologies and
converters in new markets.
§ A new power device technology does not replace the precedent one. It rather expand the market
to fill new needs and expectations in power semiconductors.
