6. Scope
Resurface Edgerton Highway from MP 0-19 with
asphalt
 Includes resurfacing existing bicycle path through Kenny
Lake
 Resurface existing driveway approaches
 Resurface Kenny Lake Material Site Access Road
 Replace mailboxes and guardrail
 Minor drainage improvements
 Brush clearing
 Update signing and striping

7. Project Objectives
• Preventive Maintenance:
 Extend service life of highway and delay future
deterioration
 Focus is on pavement preservation
• Safety Benefits: guardrail, signs, stripes, brushing
• Reduce maintenance costs and efforts:
 Delay/reduce need for routine patching/pot holing, crack
sealing

8. What to Expect During Construction
• Delays (typically <20 minutes)
• Reduced Speeds
• Gravel surfaces
• Business and residential access will always be
maintained
• Community meeting prior to Construction
