Project Objectives• Preventive Maintenance:  Extend service life of highway and delay future deterioration  Focus is on pavement preservation• Safety Benefits: guardrail, signs, stripes, brushing• Reduce maintenance costs and efforts:  Delay/reduce need for routine patching/pot holing, crack sealing
  • 7. What to Expect During Construction• Delays (typically <20 minutes)• Reduced Speeds• Gravel surfaces• Business and residential access will always be maintained• Community meeting prior to Construction
