1.1 CLINIC/HOSPITAL PROFILE:
Mabvuku Polyclinic is 22 km from the city centre in the Eastern District of Harare. It
is the only polyclinic in the district. It has a total population of 195 941 according to
the last census (2002). The catchment area includes Mabvuku and Tafara, Greendale,
Eastlea, Msasa, (Caledonia, Bobo Farm and Ruwa.) though their population is not
included in the figure quoted.
We, however believe that the polyclinic caters for a population of over 500 000
people.
