How to make fast fashion more sustainable.

1. You’ve stumbled upon a
great story!

2. And no this is not a
pitch deck.
(except the awesome one from Netflix… that’s classic)

3. You’ve probably seen
enough of that crap

4. Frankly, if every pitch deck were a
toilet roll, there would be no more
assholes in the world. They would
have been wiped clean

5. Anyways, back to the
story…

6. The world is
dying

7. But it doesn’t need to

8. Our quest for more things,
cheaper is one of the
culprits

9. Pay stagnation and low
wages makes living
difficult

10. Lack of land in cities is
giving rise to micro
apartments

11. Now that I have to survive
in one, I began to wonder,
do we really need
something so big?

12. Having 2 kids, a helper and a wife,
I kinda hoped I made it in life to
have a room for each individual

13. Maybe a study, a kitchen
and a baclony

14. But when I look at my bank account, I can
only afford shared bedrooms, a living room
that serves us the dining area,
entertainment area and balcony all in one

15. And yes, I do have a kitchen.
Something definitely worthy of
preparing Michelin star food. If
they came in microwaved boxes

thousands of
years to not eat

AND do away with laundry
AND have pretty new clothes?

washing machine for money for
even more free space 😲

That takes care of selection, delivery, collection and
processing

killing our planet should get
onboard the subscription train

31. If IKEA can figure out how to
rent their shitty furniture, I’m
sure it applies to shitty clothes

34. Recycling clothes is not as
straight forward as recycling
compressed wood chips

35. TLDR: Dye, blends… are
difficult to separate

36. But the premise still
kinda makes sense? 🤔

37. What if we had a library
of clothes that people
could subscribe to?

38. At least it’ll be washed and
folded. No disgusting
boogers between pages

39. So basically outsource logistics,
setup a clothing supply chain
and look into partnerships
(Shouldn’t be too tough right?)

40. Fast fashion or go it
alone?
Probably work with incumbents first. I doubt
communist fashion lasts longer than one dictatorship
