Plan Canada is one of the world's largest international development agencies that works in 68 countries helping end poverty. It has over 7,000 staff members and 60,000 volunteers that work in communities for about a decade building schools, clinics, and infrastructure. Plan Canada's goal is to improve children's lives and it has been operating for 75 years since being founded in 1937 as the Foster Parents Plan for Children in Spain to help kids affected by the Spanish Civil War. It now works in over 60 developing countries supporting education, water, and fighting social injustices.
