If you are looking for a very manageable approach to
  dieting and losing weight, without the hassles of more
 conventional diets, try the baby food diet. The baby food
diet is actually quite simple - you just substitute baby food
 for one or more meals in a day, so you will end up taking
                  in fewer calories in a day.
With fewer calories, your body will slowly let go of extra
poundage, because it has to work with fewer calories per
 day. Of course, this can be done without the aid of baby
   food, but it can be extremely difficult for people to
          measure the calories in ordinary food.
By using baby food, you can rest easy knowing that each
 serving of baby food will only give you 10 to 100 calories.
It's much easier to eat five servings of baby food than try
  to guess the calories in a big steak or a bowl of buttered
                          vegetables.
Little do those people know that starvation diets actually
target muscle and water (and only a little bit of fat). Body
fat content actually ends up higher when you engage in a
                      starvation diet.
If you want to craft your own recipes at home, you just
   have to combine and puree healthy food items (mainly
fruits and vegetables). You can also add grains to the mix if
    you want to - grains are an excellent source of dietary
 fiber, carbohydrates, and sometimes even small amounts
                      of usable protein.
So, the next time you see someone who has lost 10
pounds in just 7 days, think about this - what that person
  did was not normal, and they've even probably done
     damage to his/her organs. Weight loss, more than
anything, is a lifestyle shift. Weight loss is never complete
 if the person doesn't change his/her relationship with
                  food and other bad habits.
For more than a decade now, the US market has been
 flooded with weight loss supplements of all sorts. Since
FDA approval is not needed if a product doesn't claim to
   cure any disease or medical condition, both local and
     international manufacturers have jumped on the
opportunity to sell "weight loss miracles" in brick-and-
 mortar natural health stores, and even on the Internet.
Don't worry - preparing homemade baby food is quite
easy! You just have to make sure that you have a variety of
  ingredients at home, so you won't get bored with the
baby food, and, as we've already mentioned, you need to
   set aside a few hours every week to prepare the baby
                           food.
Hard vegetables, such as sweet potatoes and
 squashes, should either be boiled or baked for thirty to
forty minutes before pureeing. Unless you like the idea of
   raw vegetables, feel free to cook hard vegetables as
   thoroughly as possible so you will be able to get the
      smoothest consistency when you are pureeing.
If you like sweet food, you can try using blueberries and
strawberries to naturally sweeten the servings. If you want
   a little texture, try adding dried plums and other dried
                              fruit.
Storing your baby food in re-sealable containers will also
   allow you to bring the baby food to work, if need be.
   Now, if you are just eating baby food once a day (like
dinnertime), you can just opt for freezer-safe zip lock bags
  so you can just as easily reheat the food whenever you
                        need to eat.
