2. 3 – Types of Mini Med Plans

There are three primary limited plan types. The first (Limited Major Medical) is a watering down of more traditional plans by imposing dollar maximums while preserving familiar terminology such as: Deductible, Co-Pay, Co-insurance (80% to 20%). Although these plans are popular, we believe they can mislead an unsofisticated buyer into the belief that they actually have a major medical policy.
