as a priority

part of a well-functioning health system
5. Immunization programmes have sustainable
access to predictable funding and high-quality
supply

• Secretariat to prepare
annual progress reports

Regional Committee adopts EVAP
and urges Member States:
• to commit to immunization as a
priority;
• to harmonize their national
immunization plans with EVAP;
and
• to provide information on the
risks and benefits.

Requests the Regional Director:
• to support the implementation of
EVAP;
• to provide leadership and call for
resources;
• to provide guidance in targeting
specific high-risk groups, including
those hesitant about vaccination;
and
• to monitor and evaluate progress.
