Whether you want to learn how to repair ceramics, you
are a collector wishing to identify repairs, or someone
considering a career in ceramic conservation, this taster
weekend is just what you are looking for! It is a unique
opportunity to learn from Lynne Edge; the only
professionally accredited conservator- restorer of
ceramics and glass in the north west and midlands.
Lynne regularly delivers lectures and seminars and has
produced a range of teaching materials from NVQ to
MA level. She has trained and mentored students from
the UK, Sweden, Netherlands, USA, Italy and Malta.
Fee: £200
Materials, tools course notes and refreshments provided
Participant will be required to bring 3-4 items they wish to learn about/work on

the public and private sector.
For 16 years she was Head of
Ceramic and Glass at the
National Museums
Liverpool. She is a leading
specialist in the
conservation- restoration of
ceramics, in 2010 winning the
Nigel Williams Prize for
excellence in ceramic and
glass conservation.
