ABSTRACT

• The wireless data transmission and wired data transmission has
  been outdated. People always want to renovate stuffs. This
  curiosity has led to visible light communication system. This
  technique of data transmission has proved that the electronic lights
  can not only be used for decorative purpose but also for
  communication purpose. This technique has made use of the
  harmless visible radiation around us for data transmission. Thus
  we can’t ignore this method spelling that it’s not a green way, this
  is a green way of communication which won’t affect humans and
  other birds and animals in the environment. Hope the colorful
  lights have given us a colorful way of data transmission. Now let’s
  get some more information about this colorful method of data
  transmission.

REASONS FOR USING THIS COMMUNICATION




•   The visible light regulation is not regulated.
•   Visible light LED will be used everywhere.
•   Image sensors can be used as receivers
COMMUNICATION USING IMAGE
SENSORS

• Even if multiple visible light
   sources send data simultaneously,
   an image sensor is able to receive
   and demodulate all the data
   simultaneously without any
   interference between them.
   Camera receiver) continuously
   takes images of a scene with an
   LED light and a receiver detects
   the optical intensity at a pixel
   where the LED light is focused
   on.
EXAMPLE OF THREE DIMENSIONAL POSITION
MEASURING SYSTEM


• The technology is applied to
   measure the displacement which
   is caused by the increase of
   temperature of the aluminum
   dome roof due to the sunshine in
   the daytime. 12 LED lightings
   were attached to the roof. We
   were able to do automatic
   measurement of every 20 minutes
   for 24 hours and confirm the
   displacement of several
   millimeters
