3. The " Web-based Application Predicting Diseases "
project is a web application that uses machine learning
algorithms to predict the likelihood of a patient having a
certain disease based on their symptoms and medical
history. This project is designed to provide patients and
healthcare professionals with a reliable and efficient
diagnostic tool.
4. SCOPE OF PROJECT
• The disease prediction system has 3 users as doctor, patient, and admin.
• The system allows the patient to give symptoms and according to those symptoms, the system
will predict a disease.
• The system suggests doctors for predicted diseases
• The system allows online consultation for patients.
• In future will try to implement this system which prescribe medicine from past history
• We will arrange the video conferencing talking to doctor.
• We can use the AI to develop the chatbot.

The software requirement means the operating system and all other applications or tools used for the
development of the proposed system.

8. MACHINE LEARNING MODEL
• The machine learning model used in the project is the “Naive Bayes algorithm”, which is
trained on a preprocessed dataset of patient records.
• The model takes input from the back-end of the web application, which includes the symptoms and
medical history of the patient, and generates a prediction of the likelihood of the patient having a
particular disease.
9. DJANGO FRAMEWORK
The Django is a high-level Python framework that helps in the rapid development and clean design,
Django makes it easier to build applications more quickly, efficiently and with less code.

• In this project, PostgreSQL is used as the
backend database to store and manage the
application data.
• The project utilizes the pgAdmin tool for
managing the PostgreSQL database.

14. In conclusion, this project is a web application that uses
machine learning to Predict diseases based on user input
data. The project has a user-friendly interface that allows
users to enter their Symptoms and get a list of potential
diseases. The application also includes a Chatbot feature
that provides the facility to chat between patients and
doctors.

Here I have used it for managing the database
