Ben's Blog discusses an eCourse for learning guitar. It welcomes both beginners and experienced players, as each lesson will teach new techniques. It provides a 10% discount code for members to learn songs from its website. The first lesson teaches how to properly tune a guitar, which is essential for playing songs correctly. It encourages watching the tuning lesson even for those who already know how, as new ideas may be learned. The next lesson will cover reading tab notation.

Congratulations! You have chosen to learn the coolest instrument on
earth!
Maybe you are a beginner, maybe you have been playing for sometime,
either way I welcome you because there is plenty of content for you to enjoy
in this eCourse. Every few days you will receive a new segment, and in each
segment I will focus on teaching you different guitar techniques. I've worked
very hard to make these lessons straightforward, enjoyable and effective for
your learning. It doesn't matter weather you play acoustic, electric, blues or
rock, the techniques you'll learn in this course are fundamentally important.
Whatever, reason you have chosen to play guitar, weather you want to be in
a band, or if you want to record an album, or if you want to entertain your
friends, or if you are looking for a way to relax, these vGuitar Lessons are
designed to guide you, teach you and support you in
everything you need to know.
2. Imagine in 3 months from now, you will be looking back on this very first e-
lesson, and realising that it was the start of an incredible journey. A journey
in which you learned to play many songs and became an awesome guitarist.
You will feel surprised at how much you have learned so quickly. It's like
when you are a little child, everyday you look in the mirror but you don't
notice yourself growing, then at Christmas your relations are amazed at how
much you've grown. It's the same with learning guitar. So don't be surprised
to find yourself on stage one day, rocking out to hundreds of screaming fans
as result of this decision you made to learn guitar here today.
Our outcome is to learn and have fun. We will only learn cool stuff that you
can play straight away. Isn't that neat! Is that a deal? Are you excited?
Ok! First things first. We need to learn how to tune the Guitar! If you want to
play songs, you have to be in-tune! This first mini-video-guitar-lesson is
going to teach you how to do this. I've seen many guitarists get up on stage
at a gig, without taking the time to tune their guitar properly. The result is a
cringe-worthy performance, which only succeeds in clearing the room! So
we are going get it right from the start, then everything you play will sound,
as it should. :-)
There are many ways to tune the guitar. Most of the time I tune by ear (I will
show you how to do this). However, when I do gigs I like to use an electric
tuner for accuracy.
Once you have learned how to tune, we can then start learning songs, and
everything starts to get fun from there on in!
3. It's possible that you already know how to tune. If so, I encourage you to
watch the mini-video-guitar-lesson anyway, because you may pick up some
helpful ideas. Remember this eCourse is designed for beginner guitarists,
but each new segment focuses on different techniques so there is plenty for
you to learn which will challenge your playing ability.
I'll see you in a few days so we can learn the next important skill.... how to
read tab.
