• Pursued a BS in Visual Communication at Ohio University
• Interned at the Columbus Dispatch and Reading Eagle
• Awarded a Provost Undergraduate Research Grant from the college
to pursue a documentary project on Appalachian midwives.
3. After Graduation
• Worked for The Gazette for three years after graduation shooting photos
and video
• Pursued a masters degree in Humanities from Hood College in Frederick,
MD and wrote my graduate thesis on the experience of working women
during World War II
• Graduated in 2009 with a MA in Humanities
• Moved to NYC in 2012
4. Library Science at St. Johns
• Pursing an MLIS from St. John’s University with an interest in
archives and academic librarianship
• Interns at the American Museum of Natural History
5. Other Interests and Activities
• Currently working on a personal photo project about what makes
people feel at home in NYC
• Training for my first half marathon this spring
