Personality traits
Personality is defined by Merriam-Webster English Dictionary as “the complex of
characteristics that distinguishes an individual especially the totality of an individual's behavioral
and emotional characteristics”.
Mr. M personality is that he is someone who is meek and mellow, so as he claimed to be.
During the interview, we have inquired the workplace situation of Mr. M and what he did in facing
such adversity as being scolded during work. As someone who is meek, Mr. M can only say sorry
for the mistake that he might have done or mistake that he might not have done. For example,
Mr. M claimed that some blames are pushed onto him by his incompetent colleague as he finds
his colleague as someone who is intimidating and not to mention a senior in rank in the company.
During the short interview, we also collected a lot of information regarding his team leader.
Even though we never had the time nor opportunities to interview the team leader, we found that
by Mr. M’s testimony that the team leader is someone who is emotional and bias towards certain
gender. A personal experience that Mr. M himself had gone through during his time working is
that he was once thrown onto his chest a report that he had made, of course, Mr. M admitted that
it was his fault as he was not used to the work back then. Mr. M also claimed that situation like
these is common in private company these days.
In addition, although differed in opinions, Mr. M claimed that most of his colleagues dislike
the team leader and would pray that someday the team leader will be assign to another
department of the company. Mr. M continues to rant on and on about the team leader, he claimed
that the team leader is an incompetent leader who find faults and scolds his subordinates for no
concrete reasons.
As we find that Mr. M might be bias and prejudiced towards the team leader, we tried to
change the subject to how is the personality of his workplace colleagues. Mr. M claimed that there
are times when his colleagues will be tardy and he will have to buy some time or punch-card for
his late colleague and there are times when his colleague would push all the work onto him due
to personal reasons, however, overall, Mr. M finds held the impression that his colleague is good
compatriot and fine people.
