A loud protection alarm can activate voice call
and location notification functions.
Equipped with an easy-to-activate approximately 100 dB* protection alarm. The alarm can be set to trigger
an automatic call (voice call) to a pre-registered party, and send automatic mail (Message R) with location
information to an “imadoco search” subscriber.

● Power OFF search function
When the power is turned off, the “imadoco search” subscriber will be notified of location information by mail
(Message R). And even while the phone is turned off, the power will come back on automatically at intervals
set in advance and location information will be notified.
● Battery lock
This lock prevents anyone from trying to disable communications by removing the battery.
● Kids’ Mode
This function restricts children from changing security and other settings made by their guardians.
● Direct Call

Taking and sending pictures
Please take care not to violate the rights of others such as copyrights and other intellectual property rights, the right of portrait, and the right of
privacy when taking and sending pictures. Actions that infringe on the rights of others, or involve the taking and sending of pictures that are
malicious or against public standards of morality, etc. may be punishable by law or subject to claims for damages.

Mobile Recycling Network
Please cooperate in recycling mobile phones and PHSs.
In an effort to protect the environment and reuse precious resources, mobile phone
and PHS carriers practice recycling and collect unwanted phones, batteries, and
battery chargers, regardless of manufacturer, at stores displaying the recycling mark.
Notes on use
● Digital mobile phones are equipped with a scrambling function for privacy
protection to make conversations incomprehensible to third parties. However, a
third party may be able to use special equipment to listen in on your calls.
● Digital mobile phones convert voice into digital signals for wireless
communications, and therefore if you are in an area where radio reception is
weak, these signals may not be properly reconverted and this may result in
distortion of the caller’s voice.
● DoCoMo mobile phones use radio communications and cannot be used in tunnels,
underground areas, buildings, etc. without reception; in outdoor locations with
weak reception; or outside the service area. Reception on even some unobstructed
upper floors of high-rise buildings and apartments may be weak. Please be aware
that calls or communications may be disconnected even under optimal conditions
when reception is strong, all three antenna marks are displayed, and when in a
stationary position. Connection may be difficult due to line congestion on New
Year's Day, at times of disaster, and at events such as firework festivals.
● Please keep a separate record of the information you have registered in your
mobile phone. Please be aware that DoCoMo bears no obligation or
responsibility in the event that data is altered or lost.
● Continuous talk time is an estimate of the talk time at maximum
communications power when the Battery Saving Mode is off. Continuous
standby time is an estimate of the standby time when the phone is in transit
and remains within an area where radio reception is normal. In certain
circumstances, talk (or communications) and standby times may drop to as
low as half the times shown due to the battery charge, function settings
including Standby Display Power Saving Mode, temperature, or radio
reception in the area (weak or no reception). Talk (or communications) and
standby times will be less when you use i-mode. These times will also be less
when you take or edit pictures, compose mail, or run downloaded i-αppli even
without making calls, using i-mode, or sending with i-shot.
● SA800i has a built-in antenna. Please be careful not to cover the antenna while making
calls or using i-mode.
● Some DoCoMo mobile phones are made in part of metal. There may be cases where the
customer’s physical condition or predisposition leads to itchiness, rashes, or sores.
● Please note that reception may be affected if you use your mobile phone near a
landline phone, television, or radio in use.
● Can only be used in Japan.
● Please be careful not to disturb people around you when using your mobile phone in
crowded or quiet locations.
● Please inquire at a service counter that handles DoCoMo repairs for more information.
