■ Even though I don’t have exact information about my dads
side, from what I can gather they most likely from the 1st
wave of immigration since we are dutch.
■ They like many other dutch people, they probably were
located in the dutch settlement New Amsterdam which is
now NewYork City.

■ Over time my family from both sides has worked in almost
every economic sector.
■ My Great Grandpa worked in the primary sector when living in
Oklahoma before working for the secondary sector once he
moved to California and started working for Boeing.

■ My grandpa worked in the quinary sector. He
was high at the Forest Service.
■ He actually wrote speeches for George Bush

8. Push and Pull Factors
■ Their were a few push factors that made my family relocate
from Oklahoma.
■ The biggest was probably the dust bowl, also the weather and
climate were other factors.
9. Push and Pull Factors
■ The pull factors from California was mostly work. California had way more jobs to
offer.
■ The other factors are more obvious.
