Questionnaire And Questionnaire On The Questionnaire
Summary of respondents For the purpose of the study, the questionnaire was prepared to collect some background information of the participants in
this survey. It will help to identify the respondents and how the samples seem to be. But for the reason of anonymity, there is no comprehensive
information about respondents. It is agreed to make the respondents information in anonymous throughout the study, and not used any other purpose,
other than academic. To achieve that purpose the questionnaire was prepared to get some meaningful, hence collect very basic information of
respondents background. To get the maximum, and quality data sample used the fresh graduates from ordinary level of schooling. Those respondents
have high impact and a potential way to get the view for this survey. At the same time, the questionnaire was prepared in second most commonly used
language (English) to communicate with school leavers and middle–aged people across the country. The information that was collected from
participants very from, age, sex, educational qualification and the bank that they most frequently used to get services. These will illustrate whether the
respondents are fitted into the survey. The total number of valid respondents are 180, there is no invalid or missing sample. Among the total 180
participants in the survey total number of male participants are 88, that covers 48.9% of the total. And 92 respondents are female and that is 51.1%.

Construct Questionnaire Part 1
I chose motivation as my construct because I am very curious at what drives people and keeps them on track to reach goals, deadlines, and thing of this
nature. Motivation of course is not something that can be measured, nor could it possibly measured accurately. First motivation can be defined in
multiple ways to different people. Internal and external influences that fuel desire and energy in people to be continually involved and faithful to a job,
role or subject, or to make an effort to attain a goal. Motivation results from the interaction of both conscious and unconscious factors such as the
strength of desire ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Ultimately it would need to be broken down in many sections and even further than just intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. I think on a higher level if
I were to really gain an accurate measure of motivation on academics it would require much time and man power. I think it would also need to view
and measure learning strategies because not all students learn the same or in the same pace. Motivation is a very valuable construct that can be very
beneficial in all aspects of life. I find that motivation is hard to come by for some when it comes to academics and that is why I chose this construct
within this dimension of academics. Although I was able to come up with questions to help test or measure motivation, I almost feel that I could have
better more confined questions if given more time to provide. Due to motivation being so vast within the academic community, I think there are better
findings that could come from more critical questions in finding the motivation from students academically. I know that each construct can have a
continual and ongoing study and that the research is forever something that is done. Just like what motivates people, people are always changing and

The Importance Of Nurses Reading And Critiquing Research...
The purpose of nurses reading and critiquing research about the nursing field is to gain a better understanding of the research topic and to evaluate if
this research will be effective in every day practice. Nursing is always evolving and changing, so it is important to keep up to date research on certain
methods and practices used in the healthcare field.
Article Summary Infection control and precautions is a major aspect when working in the health care field. Nurses and all other healthcare
professionals should be properly educated regarding infection control techniques and precautions. This research study conducted by Chia–Jung Wu,
Glenn E Gardner and Anne M Chang, measures Taiwanese nursing students' capability to handle infection control in terms of knowledge, application
skills and confidence. From the review of literature and previous studies, data revealed that there is a sufficient lack in knowledge regarding infection
control procedures, however these prior results tend to be unconvincing due to only being relatable to certain groups and populations. Throughout this
study, a cross sectional survey was used for the research of fourth year nursing students in a five year program in Southern Taiwan. The demographics
of the students were studied along with three different scales measuring knowledge, application and confidence. The data was collected from a
self–administered questionnaire given out at the different campuses. The results from this study were based off

Chapter 5 QUESTIONNAIRE DESIGN AND SCALE DEVELOPMENT
Naresh K. Malhotra, Georgia Institute of Technology
Introduction
This chapter describes the importance of a questionnaire and presents the process for developing questionnaires and observational forms. Guidelines for
questionnaire construction are provided at each stage of the process. In addition, commonly used scaling techniques and use of questionnaires in
experimentation are discussed and the design of observational forms is presented.1
What Is a Questionnaire?
A questionnaire is a formalized set of questions for obtaining information from respondents. The overriding objective is to translate the researcher's
information needs into a set of specific questions that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are exceptions to this rule. Filler questions may be added to disguise the purpose or sponsorship of the project. For example, in brand studies, a
researcher may include questions about the full range of competing brands so that the respondents won't know who is sponsoring the study. Early in the
interviewing process when the researcher is attempting to build a relationship with respondents and capture their attention, a few easy–to–answer
neutral questions may be helpful. At times, certain questions may also be repeated for the purpose of assessing reliability or validity.
Are Several Questions Needed Instead of One?
In some cases, two questions are better than one. However, asking two questions in one is not the solution. Consider the following question:
"Do you think JC Penney offers better variety and prices than other department stores stores?'' (Incorrect)
A "yes" answer will presumably be clear, but what if the answer is "no"? Does this mean that the respondent thinks that JC Penney does not offer
better variety, that it does not offer better prices, or that it neither offers better variety nor better prices? Such a question is called a doublebarreled
question because two or more questions are combined into one. To avoid confusion, these questions should be asked separately,

Question 1 In the framework of the management–research question hierarchy following steps can be developed to solve current dilemma (Cooper
& Schindler, 2006): * Dilemma: use of publication reader service cards has been gradually declining which questioned efficiency of its
advertisements' to provide necessary information. * Research questions: conducing a research study about efficiency of reader service cards use
would be a reasonable action that are available for taking advantage in the situation. * Investigation questions: in order for a manager to decide about
further use of reader service cards, evaluation of all methods should be carried out to get deep insight about their relative effectiveness. * Management

Therefore, based on this information appropriate original sample sizes were selected. On the negative side, even after pilot studies, questionnaires
contained certain limitations, including lack of details about expected outcomes of the study, better structure of questions, etc. Question 6 In order to
digitize collected data and make it in the convenient form that can be used in the statistical analysis the data has to be coded appropriately. The most
suitable way to code the data would be assigning numerical values to the options of answers in the multiple choice questions. Since there is a
possibility of more than one answer to every question, then it would be right to construct number of variables equal to the number of options to
questions 1–4 and 7. These variables will contain 2 numeric values, one will correspond to the case when respondent marked this option and another
will indicate he didn't mark this option. Variable corresponding to questions like 5a, 6, and 8–11) will contain different numeric characteristics, each
corresponding to the available option. Finally, answers from the open question 5b will be directly digitized to the answer sheet. Hence, the data in this
form can be easily analyzed with the help of statistical software. Question 7 Given that manager is interested in the efficiency of reader service cards,
then research report should set its focus on this issue. The only reported finding of the survey

In-Class Reflection
Highlights of my activities:
As a part of the required activities for the course EGR9220 "Teaching in Higher Education Practicum" at Villanova University, I have had the
opportunity to teach a few sessions for CEE2105 for fall semester 2017, supervised by Dr. David Dinehart. On Wednesday November 1st, I recorded
two lectures to be posted on the blackboard and viewed by students prior to their in–class session on the following Friday and Monday. I received the
PowerPoint slides for those recorded session from Dr. Dinehart, however, added certain material to them with his consent. In particular, I added a
nine–step problem solving procedure to be implemented during in–class sessions, 37 and 38. The total duration of the recorded sessions was about 26
minutes. The first recording was titled "Centroids of the composite areas", and the second recording was titled "Centroid of composite areas, lines, and
volumes".
On Friday November 3rd, I instructed two in–class problem solving sessions from 8:30' AM to 9:20' AM, and from 9:30' AM to 10:20' AM, both on
the topic of centroids of composite areas. From the two in–class sessions, the second session was recorded and posted on the blackboard webpage as
well. The problems and solutions for both sessions were provided by Dr. Dinehart, and per his request, I tried my best to comply with his formatting in
writing of the material on the touchscreen. At the end of both sessions, questionnaires that were previously designed by myself were

The Questionnaire And The Questionnaires And Review Of...
This study employed the survey research method, and used the technique of interviews to complement the questionnaires and review of documentary
sources. The questionnaire was structured to a five point Likert scale, where strongly agree was assigned 1 point, agree was assigned 2 points,
neutral was assigned 3 points, disagree 4 points and strongly disagree 5 points. Descriptive study design was adopted in conducting this research
study. Descriptive research is the process of collecting data so as to test hypotheses or in order to answer questions regarding the current status of the
variables or subjects in the study which is very useful as the respondents were given enough time to respond to the questionnaires without any
interference whatsoever or manipulation (Williams, 2007; Ary et al., 2009). The descriptive study included survey and fact finding enquiries. This is
the most preferred research technique as it provides a more generalized outcome of the study population. Thus this design was considered most useful
for generalizing the research findings (Sindhu, 2012).
The literature used in this study was obtained from original articles retrieved from online databases, including but not limited to the EMBASE
database, the Cochrane Library and the Psych INFO. The search for the articles was conducted by using the keywords 'police', 'policing', 'racial
discrimination', 'police recruitments', 'academic grades' and 'minority groups' to make sure that the search included all

The Development Of Restaurants Industries
Executive Summary
The development of restaurants industries has taken place in modern times of 1900 's. Customer satisfaction includes things that is done for the
comfort and improvement of customers and is provided over the price paid for the food. Satisfying customers helps in maintaining the morale of
restaurants which would help to retain the customers for longer duration. The satisfaction need not be in providing quality food but also in improving
services given to customers. Customer satisfaction includes providing quality foods at reasonable price.
The study of customer preferences towards restaurants is conducted in the regions of Manipal, and Udupi region with an objective of understanding
the customer's frame of mind with respect to the restaurants and their opinion about services offered and also to measure their level of satisfaction.
The research was conducted with help of both primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected with the help of a structured questionnaire and
personal interview with the customers and secondary data was collected through magazines and reliable sources of internet. The whole research
focussed on finding out whether the services provided by the restaurants owners could satisfy the customers.
The findings from the study are presented in the form of charts, graphs and tables. Suggestions are given based on findings from the study of
restaurants for further improvement in the service offered in restaurants. However there is

The Effects Of Stress On Our Lives
ROUGH DRAFT
Brenna Lawrason #5687561
Stress is something that people are experiencing everyday based off things occurring in our everyday lives. Stress is different for everyone depending
on what kind of situation it is brought upon which could vary from school work, family issues, personal problems etc. The questionnaires entitled
Social Readjustment Scale (Miller & Rahe, 1997) and the Lifestyle and Habits Questionnaire (Dinzeo, T.J., Thayasivam, U., Sledjeski, E.M., 2014) to
determine what leads to high stress levels in our lives. In the questionnaire, it describes a range of life changing events ranked from highest to lowest
levels of stress. This study that was created in 1965, their purpose was to build on the 43 original events by adding an additional 44 events to the list.
The events were duplicated the number of events to minimize possible errors in the experiment with the overall goal to see how a group of people
could relate to similar life changing events.
High Levels of stress have a direct correlation with unhealthy behaviours affecting how our bodies work and function. When stress is presented to
people, they begin to engage in unhealthy behaviours and activities, which lead to habits that is found to decrease in overall health. Stress within
College students is examined quite extensively to see what causes them stress, and what kind of health issues is brought upon them. In the article
entitled " Stress at college: Effects on health habits, health status and

Data Gathering Essay
Research is a vital tool for education. It is research that gives us the ability to accurately observe broad pools of student, respond to data, and thus
become better educators. Without research, we wouldn 't be able to have great standard curriculums. But as I learned in this section, research is
complicated, detailed, and often labor intensive.
There are many ways to gather information. Each of the many data gathering techniques has their own pros and cons. Understanding the many different
types of data gathering is important, as it keeps us flexible and ready to enact effectively upon any situation. These types of data gathering techniques
include interviews, questionnaires, and surveys.
Although interviews are not always economic and possible to conduct on broad numbers of students, they are probably my favorite type of data
gathering technique because they are personal and therefore much more likely to be accurate. The process of interviewing involves an interviewer
sitting down with an interviewee to ask questions. The questions and responses can be more complicated than those of other techniques such as tests or
questionnaires. This is due to the ability of the interviewee to answer in more complicated terms due to the barrier of transmission being so low. It
only takes talking for the interviewee to communicate the info. This is opposed to the writing of the questionnaire or the way a student is restricted to
only a few number of responses on a test. Also, an

Collection of Information for Systems Analysis Essay examples
A critical part for systems analysis is the collection of information. From the very beginning, analyst need to understand the information systems that are
currently in use. Besides, analyst has to find out expectations of users about how they prefer to improve the current systems and organizational
operations with the new or replacement information systems. Last but not least, analyst will need to discover how users feel about the new or
replacement information systems. There are many techniques for collecting these information. Face–to–face interviewing and self–administered
questionnaires are two main techniques among them. This report is about a comparison of face–to–face interviewing and self–administered

The form of questionnaire could be through telephone, mail or even email in this day and age. The following part will discuss advantage and
disadvantage for face–to–face interview and questionnaire. After that, a recommendation will be given for which techniques should be used to collect
feelings of staffs'.
1.2Advantage and Disadvantage of face–to–face interview
According to Holbrook, Green and Krosnick (2003, p.79), face–to–face interview is known for its high–quality. Kendall and Kendall (2006, p.110)
argue that an a question–and–answer format is used for information gathering interview which is a directed conversation with a specific purpose. In
fact if we want to understand why we need to choose interview as a select technique, we need to find out what we can get from the interview. One
thing that we can get from the interview is the opinions of the interviewee and his or her feelings about the system, organizational and personal goals,
and informal procedures for interacting with information technologies. The truth is that opinions maybe more important and more revealing than
facts. An example can be given as asking the owner of a traditional store who has recently implement an online store how many customer has
complain and need to refund who deal through Web transactions each week. She replies:" About 20 to 25 a week." Then you may discover that the
average is only 10.5 per week. A conclusion will

The Advantages Of Questionnaires
Questionnaire
Questionnaires are usually used to gather accurate information from a group of people relating to a particular topic. It is an easy and reliable way to
collect data from large samples. This method has been used to collect data from students, teachers and parents. It includes both closed–ended and
open–ended questions. It allows participants to answer questions more honestly as their identity is not revealed and their opinions are kept anonymous.
Advantages of using questionnaire for this study
1.I can get access to the opinions of majority of students concerned to answer my first research question
2.Teachers are sometimes busy, so it is convenient to use questionnaires to answer my second research question without taking too much of their
precious time. So this method saves time.

The questions used for the interview consist of both closed–ended and open–ended questions so as to direct the respondents towards the relevance of
the survey. With this method, it gives me the opportunity to clarify some points and rephrase the questions in case there is misunderstanding of any
information. (Interviewed question in Appendix 6)
3.7.4 Advantages of doing interview
Interviews supply useful information concerning someone perception, thus, helping to understand individual feelings and why they hold such
opinions concerning a topic. Moreover, more explicit questions can be asked and it gives us the satisfaction of obtaining good reaction from
interviewee since all doubts are cleared and the wordings are more precise. Consequently, the responds obtained are more accurate since there is no
risk of one's opinions of being manipulated by other person related to the survey.

How Appropriate Were The Various Sampling Design Decisions?
Describe the sampling strategy. How appropriate were the various sampling design decisions?
Sampling strategy is a focus on a smaller group to determine the conclusions of the larger population (Cooper & Schindler, 2014, p. 338). In this
instance, the McMahon Group employed both focus groups and mail surveys as strategies to gather information and the dual approach produced
relevant and valuable data for researchers.
Flexible and inexpensive, focus groups consist of six to ten participants (Hartman, 2004, p. 408). Additionally, a moderator guides the discussion
among its panel members that allows researchers to observe real–time verbal responses and nonverbal cues (Hartman, 2004, p. 402; Cooper &
Schindler, 2014, p. 160). Focus groups moderators also have the ability to introduce new ideas to gain a greater understanding of concerns from
respondents (Hartman, 2004, p. 402). However, a concern with focus group is the lack of anonymity due to the face–to–face participation.
Also cost effective, the mail surveys specifically targeted the members and their spouses. Postal surveys can target specific people (necessary for the
member and spouse data collection), and allow respondents the ability to answer the survey at their leisure. On the other hand, mail questionnaires are
a slower data gathering method as compared to internet surveys (Hoonakker & Carayon, 2009, p. 359). Similarly, the possibility of response–based
error may occur if respondents do not correctly

Sampling And Non Random Sampling
Sampling
As the population of this study was the Indian SMEs in Europe which were thousands in numbers; it was notpractical to reach all of them within the
timeframe available to complete this dissertation. This made it inevitable to undertake sampling. Sampling is undertaken in order to select units or
members that are representative of the population. There are mainly two kinds of sampling namely probability and non–probability sampling (Sekaran
and Bougie, 2009). A probability sample is a sample in which every element of the population has a known and equal likelihood of being selected.
Non probability sample is any sample in which little or no attempt is made to get a representative cross section of the population (Lamb et al. 2013).
This study made use of non–random sampling. A non–random sampling method is one where each member of the population does not have a known
or calculable non zero probability of being selected (Marchevsky, 2000). The response rate of the questionnaire was low as expected at 26. 08 %. Of the
46 companies which were sent, only 12 completed questionnaires could be collected. A request forinterview was also sent to these companies of which
only three gave permission and with whom interviews were conducted.

Additionally, it would be important to ensure that one person can take the survey once. If the website saw that the same IP address re–entered the site,

Choosing a survey method requires comparing data needs against the advantages and disadvantages of the methods available in each situation (Cooper

SELF–HELP GROUP OF RURAL ASSAM AND ITS ROLE IN WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Dr. Polee Saikia1
1 Associate Professor, Department of Education, Gauhati University, Assam, India.
ABSTRACT:
Women empowerment is a universal issue. Women empowerment refers to the creation of an environment for women where they can make decisions
of their own for their personal benefits as well as for the society. It refers to increasing and improving the social, economic, political and legal strength
of the women, to ensure equal right to women and to make them confident enough to claim their rights. The overall development of the nation remains
as a paradox until and unless the women got empowered. The under privileged rural women are still far from empowerment. Unemployment, illiteracy
and low social recognition made them so. Presently the self–help groups that mushrooming in different corners of rural Assam have been creating
opportunities for women to be empowered. Here in this study an attempt has been made to study whether the rural women got scope to get empowered
by getting engagement in self–help groups. 40 women from 04 self–help groups, 13 literate and 27 illiterate women were taken as sample for the study.
To collect first hand data self structured questionnaire and self structured interview schedule were prepared by the investigators. Percentage was used to
analyze data.

Quality Measurement Tool : Evaluating Patient Satisfaction...
Quality Measurement Tool Evaluating patient satisfaction shows that there is a link between employee attitudes and patient satisfaction scores
(Ransom, Maulik, Nash & Ransom, 2012). If employees are unhappy or dissatisfied, it is difficult to conceal this when interacting with patients and
other staff members. The primary reason for evaluating employee satisfaction is to attempt to identify the problem and try to resolve them before
an impact on patient care can be seen (Ransom et al., 2012). There are two main types of surveys to evaluate employee satisfaction; interviews and
questionnaires (Ransom et al., 2012). Interviews may be more advantages as they allow the interviewer a chance for follow up questions, but run the
risk of receiving untruthful answers due to a lack of trust. Questionnaires allow the same survey to be admitted to a large group of people, however
these too can create fear in employees of being identified. Questionnaires must be careful of how questions are worded as to not be misinterpreted
(Ransom et al., 2012). The Quality Measurement Project The goal of this project is to identify the source of Radiology employee satisfaction or lack
thereof. A shortquestionnaire will be sent out electronically to allow anonymity to allow freedom in answers. There should be core questions related to
general satisfaction, from salary, management, to job satisfaction (Rea & Parker, 2014). Questions should be asked in different ways to facilitate a

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Electronic Survey
In this part I will go through the questionnaire layout and construction. Then I will define the electronic survey and its advantages and disadvantages.
In fact, there is no strong theoretical base for questionnaire design. All researchers have their own way born out from their experience and other
previous researchers' experience. Moreover, "Questionnaire design is more of an art than science" (Oberski, 2015, p. 1).
The questionnaire is defined as "a document containing serious of questions and other types of items designed to solicit information appropriate to
analysis" (Babbie, 1990, p. 377). In our daily work we used the questionnaire as a tool for collecting information to justify and explain cases,
knowledge, and behaviors on target group. Questionnaire design is very crucial and important part of the research because inappropriate questionnaire
will misleads the research result. Indeed, we used questionnaire in our daily life to satisfy our queries in in another format. For example, we ask
questions in different events like when we want to pay something. The use of questionnaire in research is somehow similar to that in our daily life. It

The data for the audit will be collected from patients and ward/nursing staff in these wards. The data will be collected from 95% of the patients in each

However, the audit tools are reliable and can be easily repeated by others.
The observations of mealtimes (See appendix E) will be analysed by distributing the collected data on a bar chart; where the data can be interpreted
more efficiently by displaying the total numbers of patients who require assistance, receive assistance and receive red trays across all the observations
for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The analysis of the patients questionnaire may be time consuming, as it's in paper format – meaning that the questions and respondent data will have to
be manually transferred into spreadsheet software, with each question assigned a column, and row for each person's answer, with each answer being
assigned a 'code'. Once all the data from each questionnaire has been entered in the spreadsheet; it should be checked for accuracy. The data can then
be transferred to a bar chart, to display the data, for simple analysis.
The ward staff questionnaire (See Appendix D) is quantitative and can be analysed by reading the questionnaires, putting them into categories and
assigning 'codes'. Though, this is a time–consuming method and highly subjective with the questionnaires having an increased risk of being interpreted
incorrectly.
Ethics & Confidentiality
One major ethical concern is to make sure informed consent is given by the patients to allow for (1) the conduction of observations on them during
mealtimes and (2) their participation in questionnaires. Patients

Based on the employee surveys, workers feel overworked, undervalued, underpaid, unclear promotional pathway, especially females. The 2001
PeopleSoft employee data release by Walmart, shows that women are represented a disproportionately higher rate than males in positions that pay an
hourly rate, while men are represented at the higher salaried management positions (Drogin, 2003). Reevaluation of Walmart's training is necessary and
is supported by current research which finds that there is a link between training and expect organizational and human resource outcomes. Research
find that "that companies that conduct training are more likely to have more positive human resource outcomes and greater performance outcomes"
(Noe, 2013, p. 234). By determining who needs training, the skills and knowledge that needs to be taught, and the timeframe the training needs to be
completed in, the training can be tailored to meet the needs of the company as well as its employees. Organizational analysis "involves determining the
appropriateness of training, given the company's business strategy, its resources available for training, and support by managers and peers for training

Research Paper On Job Stress
There are almost three billion people in this world who are employed on different positions in different organizations of the world. Their working
conditions like environment, work load, interconnectivity with coworkers etc are different but these employees faces one common issue during their
jobs that is Job Stress. Job Stress is perceived as a negative terminology which mostly employees all around the world tend to avoid. Stress is one of
the burning issues that organizations have to deal so that employees can comfortably produce quality work. Stress causes an imbalance in one's life
because it leads to depression and thus damages health, attitude and work behavior. Causes of stress are called stressors, which can be workplace
conflict, role conflict, role ambiguity and workload. In my research the main focus is on work load and interconnectivity with coworkers. Stress has
been defined in different ways over the years. Originally, it was conceived as pressure from the environment, then as strain within the person. The
generally accepted definition today is one of the interactions between the situation and the individual. It is the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

It is not always true that job stress always have a negative effect on employees' job performance. Some employees find job stress as their motivators.
They think that it is according to their personality and during their career they will learn a lot from their jobs.
The proposal of this research is that we should understand the differences that under what circumstances the employees tend to be positively affected
by the job stress and also understand the factors that impose negative effect on the job performance of the employees. After understanding these
differences the managers will be able to provide such conditions to their employees in which the productivity of the employees will be greater while

Cognitive Questionnaire
Recent studies have found that though there is solid evidence of Automatic Thought Questionnaire factorial validity in the western literature, support
from non–western exploration remains insufficient (Oei, 2008). In non–western culture, religion and cultural traditions may indirectly influence mental
distress, therefore, psychometric properties of a resource such as ATQ used in Malaysia should accommodate for behaviors and thoughts that differ in
the factor structure in western literature. Accordingly, it is hypothesized that valid and reliable cognitive measure would improve the theoretical and
empirical validity of the cognitive behavioral approach in Malaysia (Oei, 2008). One thousand and ninety Malay participants in four samples... Show

Furthermore, effective interventions depend on associated factors that influence treatment outcome. Cognitive therapy has been useful in intervention
for depression in various clinical settings, conversely, in Kuyken's study, (as cited in Elkin et al., 1989; Evans et al., 1992) rates of dropout, poor
outcomes, and relapse are just as significant (Kuyken, 2004). Therefore, hopelessness non–responsiveness early in therapy is a predictor of the eventual
outcome in contrast to hopelessness severity at intake (Kuyken, 2004). To support this claim, structured clinical interviews and psychological
assessments were conducted on 122 outpatients who were diagnosed with unipolar depression. All participants received recorded cognitive therapy by
diagnosticians and those tapes substantiated inter–rater reliability. Assessments of depression and severity of hopelessness were collected before
participants met with therapists. In this experimental design, clinical therapists individualized case formulation and treatment plans that both therapist
and client agreed upon. At the conclusion of therapy, patients' records to attain data regarding the length of, outcome, and the need for additional

Data Collection Tool Used For Information About Individuals
A survey is a process of obtaining information or a general view, examination, or description of something. It is a data collection tool used to gather
information about individuals. It has a variety of purposes and can actually be conducted in many ways. One of the ways is by printed questionnaire,
over the telephone, by mail, in person, by diskette, or on the web. However, the information is collected through the use of standardized procedures.
This is to ensure that every participant is asked the same question in the same way (uniform). It entails asking the participants for information in a
structured format. Notably, the participants being surveyed may be representing themselves or their organization depending on what is being asked.
They may also focus on factual information about individuals. Generally, surveys are standardized to ensure that they have reliability and validity. This
is very important so that the results can be generalized to the entire population. However, this paper will discuss the following questions/concerns based
on the survey questionnaire answered: my thought on the length of each survey instrument, my thought on the open minded questions, whether I
preferred completing the surveys or open ended questions, which methodology I believe is most useful in the examination of each variable/construct,
and how this experience might influence my research design.

respondent answers, and then the experimenter records the response). Lastly, there are a string of self–administered questionnaires that include
text–computer assisted self–interviewing (text–CASI, which are laptops having the question and answer), audio–computer assisted self–interview
(audio–CASI, same thing as text–CASI, except the questions are in audio format), and video–CASI (questions are in video format instead). (151–153)
Since many of the modes are related in some form or combination of visual, auditory, and touch, I will judge the benefits and disadvantages on five
dimensions: 1) interviewer involvement, 2) respondent interaction, 3) privacy measures, 4) "channels of communication," and 5) amount of
technological utilization (153).
Interviewer Involvement
The one distinct form that has no interviewer involvement is mail. Telephone has some involvement, but not as physical as the face–to–face interview.
The face–to–face branching of SAQs would still have some interviewer involvement as it would be primarily be delivered by the researcher. The
biggest disadvantage of having an interviewer present is the cost associated with it (i.e. training, supervision, support, etc.) (153). Another problem, that
may be associated with interviewer involvement are the effects it produces (i.e. answers toward gender behaviors, and the interviewer being of a
different gender may influence those responses). However, the cost of the interviewer still has some benefit as they can

Title of Study: Social Studies
Problem Statement– How do teenagers my age manage their time and to what extent does it negatively affect their academic performance?
Reason for selecting area of research– I want to perform this research to compare the way I Manage my time to how others, my age, manage their time
and see how their time management affects their academic performance. This problem affects me as I don't manage my time very well.
Method of investigation– I have used the questionnaire to pin point different areas of time management. There are sixteen (16) questions in this
questionnaire. The questionnaire should be used because it is easy to distribute, they can be distributed to a large number of people even if they are
dispersed, it is not costly to produce a large number of questionnaires, data can be easily summed up and it saves the researcher time since a large
number can be administered at the same time.

Effective Teamwork Questionnaire
What are the characteristics of effective teams? How will you ensure your collaborative team works effectively?
Effective teams have traits that distinguish them from others. Although these characteristics might seem old fashioned, they have the impact of turning
each team member, and in effect, changing the entire group. The essential attributes are effectivecommunication and discipline. Members who
communicate with each other understand one another. Discussion will allow the leaders to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the members.
As such, delegation and the allocation of duties will be easy. The team members will also be able to encourage each other and the correct one another
when one of them makes mistakes. The other quality is discipline. A disciplined workforce that is geared to effective communicating and working
together is destined to succeed.
How will you deal with behavior that hurts your team's objectives?
As mentioned earlier, communication is ideal to see a team forge ahead. Effective communication will ease the tension that one might have about

At the start of the team, the members came together as a group that shared the same ideals. It also wanted to see the goals come to fruition. However,
more focus was shifted to tasks rather than building relationships. The members thought that the tasks would take care of the other part. However, both
old and new recruits have had a difficult time fitting in. There are some, who have even contemplated leaving. Inasmuch as they admire the zeal of the
team, they identify that it has no relationship that will hold them together in times of challenges. As such, the team agreed to come up with ways to
focus on the members and cast aside the tasks for a fleeting moment, for the sake of the

The Commercialization Of Sport At The United States...
The Commercialization of Sport According to Brad Austin (2015), the US university programs on athletics has created tangible links between the
authorities of the institution and the alumni group in two ways. One is legitimizing and codifying the alumni interest in men's and women's sports. To
do this, they even have provided alumni representatives in the athletic governing body. The second one, is the coordination of various alumni events
with the yearly homecoming events in the universities of the US. It has been found that the American leaders used to utilize these homecoming events
to rejuvenate the spirit and affinity among the people of the country during the decades of the early twentieth century. Thus, the universities were used
to get affected by this political interest. This political interest enhanced the initial steps towards commercialization of homecoming. Janet Harvey
(2000) has pointed out that in the last two decades the American homecoming events have witnessed a cultural transformation towards
commercialization. These transformations have long term impact on its audience. The entertainment packages are now much more an issue of
concerns in the mainstream media than the actual sports event. The popularity has been brought to a great extent by this hip hop culture through
commercialization. Contemporary cultural analysts are mostly concerned about analysing the impact of globalisation on the localised events like
homecoming game tailgate. The celebration

Making The Grumpy Old Man
Making the Grumpy Old Man Grumpier
Sometimes my kids call me "GOM". It stands for "Grumpy Old Man". I'm not really (I think), but certainly I verge on becoming a letters–to–the–editor
writer (actually I did once write such a letter, but you'll be pleased to know it was in response to some very misleading survey reporting).
Am I an old man? Well, I use punctuation when texting, I know the difference between a survey and aquestionnaire (they are NOT interchangeable
terms, people!), and I stopped drinking beer during focus groups 15 years ago. Heck, after a heavy day of qual interviewing the other day I only
managed half a pizza! (and who says 'heck' these days?).
But what, to quote the great philosopher Peter Griffin, really 'grinds my gears'?
It's crap research. I can happily debate sex, politics and religion, but rubbish research incenses me.
And unfortunately I see a fair bit of it. Because I get sent a lot of screen shots and Facebook messages from friends and family, saying "get a load of
this", with yet another dismal example of poor work. I've been given questionnaires and reports from clients too. I also see problems when completing
questionnaires myself – I'm on most of the online panels in NZ, and when I'm not screened out I get to see what my industry colleagues are up to – it's
a fantastic way to see research from a respondent's perspective.
(And what's with screening out market researchers anyway? We're consumers too, and if you're worried about other

4.1. Identify customer requirements
The customer is given a questionnaire and their responses are recorded in their own languages. SMEs may not immediately have knowledge or action
plans to meet the customer demands, but the requirements need to be documented in the same way that it was delivered by the customers. After which
the CRs can be organized hierarchically with no limit on the number of the hierarchical levels [3].
The customers are categorized as internal customers (e.g., stakeholders, managers, employees) and external customers (e.g., individuals who use SMEs
products or services). Ten customers can be selected to participate in the study. The customers can provide their viewpoints in free–form input on the
importance of different factors with sufficient guidance supplied to warrant constructive feedback collection. This is to avoid bias in obtaining CRs.
The variables addressed in the questionnaire are:
Good customer service (CR1).
Speed of service (CR2).
Facility Cleanliness (e.g., store, bathroom, parking lot) (CR3).
Perceived safe environment (e.g., well–lit environment both inside and outside the store including the parking lot) (CR4).

Measuring Personality Traits with Eysenck Personality...
Targeted population, creator and history of assessment
Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ) test which is a third personality test created by Hans Eysenck and Sybil Eysenck at 1975 (Fiest&Fiest,
2008). Hans Eysenck (1916–1997) was born in Germany on March 4, 1916. Due to the persecution of jews he fled to England at the age of 18 and
here he became a famous psychiatrist. The Eysenck Personality Questionnaire built on the basic and successive improvement of Maudsley Personality
Inventory and Eysenck Personality Inventory which included extraversion (E) scale, nuerocitism (N) scale, and psychoticism (p) scale. The EPQ is a
self–reported questionnaire. Basically, EPQ can use to test every people because it possess adult and junior version to measures the personality traits
of adult and children and also also used for research purposes in a large population such as teenagers attending school. Moreover, EPQ can be involved
in larger studies aiming to measure, for instance; drug addiction, danger behaviour (Anton, Oscar & Luis, 2002).

Questionnaire And Questionnaire On The Questionnaire

  • 1. Questionnaire And Questionnaire On The Questionnaire Summary of respondents For the purpose of the study, the questionnaire was prepared to collect some background information of the participants in this survey. It will help to identify the respondents and how the samples seem to be. But for the reason of anonymity, there is no comprehensive information about respondents. It is agreed to make the respondents information in anonymous throughout the study, and not used any other purpose, other than academic. To achieve that purpose the questionnaire was prepared to get some meaningful, hence collect very basic information of respondents background. To get the maximum, and quality data sample used the fresh graduates from ordinary level of schooling. Those respondents have high impact and a potential way to get the view for this survey. At the same time, the questionnaire was prepared in second most commonly used language (English) to communicate with school leavers and middle–aged people across the country. The information that was collected from participants very from, age, sex, educational qualification and the bank that they most frequently used to get services. These will illustrate whether the respondents are fitted into the survey. The total number of valid respondents are 180, there is no invalid or missing sample. Among the total 180 participants in the survey total number of male participants are 88, that covers 48.9% of the total. And 92 respondents are female and that is 51.1%. • 2. Construct Questionnaire Construct Questionnaire Part 1 Dawn Carlton Psychology 245 August 10, 2015 Tracy Masiello Construct Questionnaire Part 1 I chose motivation as my construct because I am very curious at what drives people and keeps them on track to reach goals, deadlines, and thing of this nature. Motivation of course is not something that can be measured, nor could it possibly measured accurately. First motivation can be defined in multiple ways to different people. Internal and external influences that fuel desire and energy in people to be continually involved and faithful to a job, role or subject, or to make an effort to attain a goal. Motivation results from the interaction of both conscious and unconscious factors such as the strength of desire ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Ultimately it would need to be broken down in many sections and even further than just intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. I think on a higher level if I were to really gain an accurate measure of motivation on academics it would require much time and man power. I think it would also need to view and measure learning strategies because not all students learn the same or in the same pace. Motivation is a very valuable construct that can be very beneficial in all aspects of life. I find that motivation is hard to come by for some when it comes to academics and that is why I chose this construct within this dimension of academics. Although I was able to come up with questions to help test or measure motivation, I almost feel that I could have better more confined questions if given more time to provide. Due to motivation being so vast within the academic community, I think there are better findings that could come from more critical questions in finding the motivation from students academically. I know that each construct can have a continual and ongoing study and that the research is forever something that is done. Just like what motivates people, people are always changing and ... • 3. The Importance Of Nurses Reading And Critiquing Research... The purpose of nurses reading and critiquing research about the nursing field is to gain a better understanding of the research topic and to evaluate if this research will be effective in every day practice. Nursing is always evolving and changing, so it is important to keep up to date research on certain methods and practices used in the healthcare field. Article Summary Infection control and precautions is a major aspect when working in the health care field. Nurses and all other healthcare professionals should be properly educated regarding infection control techniques and precautions. This research study conducted by Chia–Jung Wu, Glenn E Gardner and Anne M Chang, measures Taiwanese nursing students' capability to handle infection control in terms of knowledge, application skills and confidence. From the review of literature and previous studies, data revealed that there is a sufficient lack in knowledge regarding infection control procedures, however these prior results tend to be unconvincing due to only being relatable to certain groups and populations. Throughout this study, a cross sectional survey was used for the research of fourth year nursing students in a five year program in Southern Taiwan. The demographics of the students were studied along with three different scales measuring knowledge, application and confidence. The data was collected from a self–administered questionnaire given out at the different campuses. The results from this study were based off ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Questionnaire Chapter 5 QUESTIONNAIRE DESIGN AND SCALE DEVELOPMENT Naresh K. Malhotra, Georgia Institute of Technology Introduction This chapter describes the importance of a questionnaire and presents the process for developing questionnaires and observational forms. Guidelines for questionnaire construction are provided at each stage of the process. In addition, commonly used scaling techniques and use of questionnaires in experimentation are discussed and the design of observational forms is presented.1 What Is a Questionnaire? A questionnaire is a formalized set of questions for obtaining information from respondents. The overriding objective is to translate the researcher's information needs into a set of specific questions that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... There are exceptions to this rule. Filler questions may be added to disguise the purpose or sponsorship of the project. For example, in brand studies, a researcher may include questions about the full range of competing brands so that the respondents won't know who is sponsoring the study. Early in the interviewing process when the researcher is attempting to build a relationship with respondents and capture their attention, a few easy–to–answer neutral questions may be helpful. At times, certain questions may also be repeated for the purpose of assessing reliability or validity. Are Several Questions Needed Instead of One? In some cases, two questions are better than one. However, asking two questions in one is not the solution. Consider the following question: "Do you think JC Penney offers better variety and prices than other department stores stores?'' (Incorrect) A "yes" answer will presumably be clear, but what if the answer is "no"? Does this mean that the respondent thinks that JC Penney does not offer better variety, that it does not offer better prices, or that it neither offers better variety nor better prices? Such a question is called a doublebarreled question because two or more questions are combined into one. To avoid confusion, these questions should be asked separately, 178

Bigger Johnson Question 1 In the framework of the management–research question hierarchy following steps can be developed to solve current dilemma (Cooper & Schindler, 2006): * Dilemma: use of publication reader service cards has been gradually declining which questioned efficiency of its advertisements' to provide necessary information. * Research questions: conducing a research study about efficiency of reader service cards use would be a reasonable action that are available for taking advantage in the situation. * Investigation questions: in order for a manager to decide about further use of reader service cards, evaluation of all methods should be carried out to get deep insight about their relative effectiveness. * Management ... On the negative side, even after pilot studies, questionnaires contained certain limitations, including lack of details about expected outcomes of the study, better structure of questions, etc. Question 6 In order to digitize collected data and make it in the convenient form that can be used in the statistical analysis the data has to be coded appropriately. The most suitable way to code the data would be assigning numerical values to the options of answers in the multiple choice questions. Since there is a possibility of more than one answer to every question, then it would be right to construct number of variables equal to the number of options to questions 1–4 and 7. These variables will contain 2 numeric values, one will correspond to the case when respondent marked this option and another will indicate he didn't mark this option. Variable corresponding to questions like 5a, 6, and 8–11) will contain different numeric characteristics, each corresponding to the available option. Finally, answers from the open question 5b will be directly digitized to the answer sheet. Hence, the data in this form can be easily analyzed with the help of statistical software. Question 7 Given that manager is interested in the efficiency of reader service cards, then research report should set its focus on this issue. The only reported finding of the survey ... • 7. In-Class Reflection Highlights of my activities: As a part of the required activities for the course EGR9220 "Teaching in Higher Education Practicum" at Villanova University, I have had the opportunity to teach a few sessions for CEE2105 for fall semester 2017, supervised by Dr. David Dinehart. On Wednesday November 1st, I recorded two lectures to be posted on the blackboard and viewed by students prior to their in–class session on the following Friday and Monday. I received the PowerPoint slides for those recorded session from Dr. Dinehart, however, added certain material to them with his consent. In particular, I added a nine–step problem solving procedure to be implemented during in–class sessions, 37 and 38. The total duration of the recorded sessions was about 26 minutes. The first recording was titled "Centroids of the composite areas", and the second recording was titled "Centroid of composite areas, lines, and volumes". On Friday November 3rd, I instructed two in–class problem solving sessions from 8:30' AM to 9:20' AM, and from 9:30' AM to 10:20' AM, both on the topic of centroids of composite areas. From the two in–class sessions, the second session was recorded and posted on the blackboard webpage as well. The problems and solutions for both sessions were provided by Dr. Dinehart, and per his request, I tried my best to comply with his formatting in writing of the material on the touchscreen. • 8. The Questionnaire And The Questionnaires And Review Of... This study employed the survey research method, and used the technique of interviews to complement the questionnaires and review of documentary sources. The questionnaire was structured to a five point Likert scale, where strongly agree was assigned 1 point, agree was assigned 2 points, neutral was assigned 3 points, disagree 4 points and strongly disagree 5 points. Descriptive study design was adopted in conducting this research study. Descriptive research is the process of collecting data so as to test hypotheses or in order to answer questions regarding the current status of the variables or subjects in the study which is very useful as the respondents were given enough time to respond to the questionnaires without any interference whatsoever or manipulation (Williams, 2007; Ary et al., 2009). The descriptive study included survey and fact finding enquiries. This is the most preferred research technique as it provides a more generalized outcome of the study population. Thus this design was considered most useful for generalizing the research findings (Sindhu, 2012). The literature used in this study was obtained from original articles retrieved from online databases, including but not limited to the EMBASE database, the Cochrane Library and the Psych INFO. The search for the articles was conducted by using the keywords 'police', 'policing', 'racial discrimination', 'police recruitments', 'academic grades' and 'minority groups' to make sure that the search included all ... • 13. The Effects Of Stress On Our Lives ROUGH DRAFT Brenna Lawrason #5687561 Stress is something that people are experiencing everyday based off things occurring in our everyday lives. Stress is different for everyone depending on what kind of situation it is brought upon which could vary from school work, family issues, personal problems etc. The questionnaires entitled Social Readjustment Scale (Miller & Rahe, 1997) and the Lifestyle and Habits Questionnaire (Dinzeo, T.J., Thayasivam, U., Sledjeski, E.M., 2014) to determine what leads to high stress levels in our lives. In the questionnaire, it describes a range of life changing events ranked from highest to lowest levels of stress. This study that was created in 1965, their purpose was to build on the 43 original events by adding an additional 44 events to the list. The events were duplicated the number of events to minimize possible errors in the experiment with the overall goal to see how a group of people could relate to similar life changing events. High Levels of stress have a direct correlation with unhealthy behaviours affecting how our bodies work and function. When stress is presented to people, they begin to engage in unhealthy behaviours and activities, which lead to habits that is found to decrease in overall health. Stress within College students is examined quite extensively to see what causes them stress, and what kind of health issues is brought upon them. • 14. Data Gathering Essay Research is a vital tool for education. It is research that gives us the ability to accurately observe broad pools of student, respond to data, and thus become better educators. Without research, we wouldn 't be able to have great standard curriculums. But as I learned in this section, research is complicated, detailed, and often labor intensive. There are many ways to gather information. Each of the many data gathering techniques has their own pros and cons. Understanding the many different types of data gathering is important, as it keeps us flexible and ready to enact effectively upon any situation. These types of data gathering techniques include interviews, questionnaires, and surveys. Although interviews are not always economic and possible to conduct on broad numbers of students, they are probably my favorite type of data gathering technique because they are personal and therefore much more likely to be accurate. The process of interviewing involves an interviewer sitting down with an interviewee to ask questions. The questions and responses can be more complicated than those of other techniques such as tests or questionnaires. This is due to the ability of the interviewee to answer in more complicated terms due to the barrier of transmission being so low. It only takes talking for the interviewee to communicate the info. This is opposed to the writing of the questionnaire or the way a student is restricted to only a few number of responses on a test. Also, an ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

From the very beginning, analyst need to understand the information systems that are currently in use. Besides, analyst has to find out expectations of users about how they prefer to improve the current systems and organizational operations with the new or replacement information systems. Last but not least, analyst will need to discover how users feel about the new or replacement information systems. There are many techniques for collecting these information. Face–to–face interviewing and self–administered questionnaires are two main techniques among them. The form of questionnaire could be through telephone, mail or even email in this day and age. The following part will discuss advantage and disadvantage for face–to–face interview and questionnaire. After that, a recommendation will be given for which techniques should be used to collect feelings of staffs'. 1.2Advantage and Disadvantage of face–to–face interview According to Holbrook, Green and Krosnick (2003, p.79), face–to–face interview is known for its high–quality. Kendall and Kendall (2006, p.110) argue that an a question–and–answer format is used for information gathering interview which is a directed conversation with a specific purpose. In fact if we want to understand why we need to choose interview as a select technique, we need to find out what we can get from the interview. One thing that we can get from the interview is the opinions of the interviewee and his or her feelings about the system, organizational and personal goals, and informal procedures for interacting with information technologies. The truth is that opinions maybe more important and more revealing than facts. An example can be given as asking the owner of a traditional store who has recently implement an online store how many customer has complain and need to refund who deal through Web transactions each week. She replies:" About 20 to 25 a week." Then you may discover that the average is only 10.5 per week. A conclusion will ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 16. The Advantages Of Questionnaires Questionnaire Questionnaires are usually used to gather accurate information from a group of people relating to a particular topic. It is an easy and reliable way to collect data from large samples. This method has been used to collect data from students, teachers and parents. It includes both closed–ended and open–ended questions. It allows participants to answer questions more honestly as their identity is not revealed and their opinions are kept anonymous. Advantages of using questionnaire for this study 1.I can get access to the opinions of majority of students concerned to answer my first research question 2.Teachers are sometimes busy, so it is convenient to use questionnaires to answer my second research question without taking too much of their precious time. • 17. How Appropriate Were The Various Sampling Design Decisions? Describe the sampling strategy. How appropriate were the various sampling design decisions? Sampling strategy is a focus on a smaller group to determine the conclusions of the larger population (Cooper & Schindler, 2014, p. 338). In this instance, the McMahon Group employed both focus groups and mail surveys as strategies to gather information and the dual approach produced relevant and valuable data for researchers. Flexible and inexpensive, focus groups consist of six to ten participants (Hartman, 2004, p. 408). Additionally, a moderator guides the discussion among its panel members that allows researchers to observe real–time verbal responses and nonverbal cues (Hartman, 2004, p. 402; Cooper & Schindler, 2014, p. 160). Focus groups moderators also have the ability to introduce new ideas to gain a greater understanding of concerns from respondents (Hartman, 2004, p. 402). However, a concern with focus group is the lack of anonymity due to the face–to–face participation. Also cost effective, the mail surveys specifically targeted the members and their spouses. Postal surveys can target specific people (necessary for the member and spouse data collection), and allow respondents the ability to answer the survey at their leisure. On the other hand, mail questionnaires are a slower data gathering method as compared to internet surveys (Hoonakker & Carayon, 2009, p. 359). Similarly, the possibility of response–based error may occur if respondents do not correctly ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 18. Sampling And Non Random Sampling Sampling As the population of this study was the Indian SMEs in Europe which were thousands in numbers; it was notpractical to reach all of them within the timeframe available to complete this dissertation. This made it inevitable to undertake sampling. Sampling is undertaken in order to select units or members that are representative of the population. There are mainly two kinds of sampling namely probability and non–probability sampling (Sekaran and Bougie, 2009). A probability sample is a sample in which every element of the population has a known and equal likelihood of being selected. Non probability sample is any sample in which little or no attempt is made to get a representative cross section of the population (Lamb et al. 2013). This study made use of non–random sampling. A non–random sampling method is one where each member of the population does not have a known or calculable non zero probability of being selected (Marchevsky, 2000). The response rate of the questionnaire was low as expected at 26. 08 %. Of the 46 companies which were sent, only 12 completed questionnaires could be collected. A request forinterview was also sent to these companies of which only three gave permission and with whom interviews were conducted. • 20. Self Help Group Of Rural Assam SELF–HELP GROUP OF RURAL ASSAM AND ITS ROLE IN WOMEN EMPOWERMENT Dr. Polee Saikia1 1 Associate Professor, Department of Education, Gauhati University, Assam, India. ABSTRACT: Women empowerment is a universal issue. Women empowerment refers to the creation of an environment for women where they can make decisions of their own for their personal benefits as well as for the society. It refers to increasing and improving the social, economic, political and legal strength of the women, to ensure equal right to women and to make them confident enough to claim their rights. The overall development of the nation remains as a paradox until and unless the women got empowered. The under privileged rural women are still far from empowerment. Unemployment, illiteracy and low social recognition made them so. Presently the self–help groups that mushrooming in different corners of rural Assam have been creating opportunities for women to be empowered. Here in this study an attempt has been made to study whether the rural women got scope to get empowered by getting engagement in self–help groups. 40 women from 04 self–help groups, 13 literate and 27 illiterate women were taken as sample for the study. To collect first hand data self structured questionnaire and self structured interview schedule were prepared by the investigators. Percentage was used to analyze data. • 21. Quality Measurement Tool : Evaluating Patient Satisfaction... Quality Measurement Tool Evaluating patient satisfaction shows that there is a link between employee attitudes and patient satisfaction scores (Ransom, Maulik, Nash & Ransom, 2012). If employees are unhappy or dissatisfied, it is difficult to conceal this when interacting with patients and other staff members. The primary reason for evaluating employee satisfaction is to attempt to identify the problem and try to resolve them before an impact on patient care can be seen (Ransom et al., 2012). There are two main types of surveys to evaluate employee satisfaction; interviews and questionnaires (Ransom et al., 2012). Interviews may be more advantages as they allow the interviewer a chance for follow up questions, but run the risk of receiving untruthful answers due to a lack of trust. Questionnaires allow the same survey to be admitted to a large group of people, however these too can create fear in employees of being identified. Questionnaires must be careful of how questions are worded as to not be misinterpreted (Ransom et al., 2012). The Quality Measurement Project The goal of this project is to identify the source of Radiology employee satisfaction or lack thereof. A shortquestionnaire will be sent out electronically to allow anonymity to allow freedom in answers. There should be core questions related to general satisfaction, from salary, management, to job satisfaction (Rea & Parker, 2014). Then I will define the electronic survey and its advantages and disadvantages. In fact, there is no strong theoretical base for questionnaire design. All researchers have their own way born out from their experience and other previous researchers' experience. Moreover, "Questionnaire design is more of an art than science" (Oberski, 2015, p. 1). The questionnaire is defined as "a document containing serious of questions and other types of items designed to solicit information appropriate to analysis" (Babbie, 1990, p. 377). In our daily work we used the questionnaire as a tool for collecting information to justify and explain cases, knowledge, and behaviors on target group. Questionnaire design is very crucial and important part of the research because inappropriate questionnaire will misleads the research result. Indeed, we used questionnaire in our daily life to satisfy our queries in in another format. For example, we ask questions in different events like when we want to pay something. The observations of mealtimes (See appendix E) will be analysed by distributing the collected data on a bar chart; where the data can be interpreted more efficiently by displaying the total numbers of patients who require assistance, receive assistance and receive red trays across all the observations for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The analysis of the patients questionnaire may be time consuming, as it's in paper format – meaning that the questions and respondent data will have to be manually transferred into spreadsheet software, with each question assigned a column, and row for each person's answer, with each answer being assigned a 'code'. Once all the data from each questionnaire has been entered in the spreadsheet; it should be checked for accuracy. The ward staff questionnaire (See Appendix D) is quantitative and can be analysed by reading the questionnaires, putting them into categories and assigning 'codes'. Though, this is a time–consuming method and highly subjective with the questionnaires having an increased risk of being interpreted incorrectly. Job Stress is perceived as a negative terminology which mostly employees all around the world tend to avoid. It is a data collection tool used to gather information about individuals. It has a variety of purposes and can actually be conducted in many ways. One of the ways is by printed questionnaire, over the telephone, by mail, in person, by diskette, or on the web. However, the information is collected through the use of standardized procedures. This is to ensure that every participant is asked the same question in the same way (uniform). It entails asking the participants for information in a structured format. Notably, the participants being surveyed may be representing themselves or their organization depending on what is being asked. They may also focus on factual information about individuals. Generally, surveys are standardized to ensure that they have reliability and validity. This is very important so that the results can be generalized to the entire population. However, this paper will discuss the following questions/concerns based on the survey questionnaire answered: my thought on the length of each survey instrument, my thought on the open minded questions, whether I preferred completing the surveys or open ended questions, which methodology I believe is most useful in the examination of each variable/construct, and how this experience might influence my research design. Interviewer Involvement The one distinct form that has no interviewer involvement is mail. Telephone has some involvement, but not as physical as the face–to–face interview. The face–to–face branching of SAQs would still have some interviewer involvement as it would be primarily be delivered by the researcher. The biggest disadvantage of having an interviewer present is the cost associated with it (i.e. training, supervision, support, etc.) (153). How will you ensure your collaborative team works effectively? Effective teams have traits that distinguish them from others. The essential attributes are effectivecommunication and discipline. Members who communicate with each other understand one another. Discussion will allow the leaders to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the members. As such, delegation and the allocation of duties will be easy. • 51. The Commercialization Of Sport At The United States... The Commercialization of Sport According to Brad Austin (2015), the US university programs on athletics has created tangible links between the authorities of the institution and the alumni group in two ways. One is legitimizing and codifying the alumni interest in men's and women's sports. To do this, they even have provided alumni representatives in the athletic governing body. The second one, is the coordination of various alumni events with the yearly homecoming events in the universities of the US. It has been found that the American leaders used to utilize these homecoming events to rejuvenate the spirit and affinity among the people of the country during the decades of the early twentieth century. Thus, the universities were used to get affected by this political interest. This political interest enhanced the initial steps towards commercialization of homecoming. Janet Harvey (2000) has pointed out that in the last two decades the American homecoming events have witnessed a cultural transformation towards commercialization. These transformations have long term impact on its audience. The entertainment packages are now much more an issue of concerns in the mainstream media than the actual sports event. The popularity has been brought to a great extent by this hip hop culture through commercialization. Contemporary cultural analysts are mostly concerned about analysing the impact of globalisation on the localised events like homecoming game tailgate. The celebration ...
