document review and allows for a higher
level of consistency in the process.
 Identifies more relevant documents than the
traditional linear attorney review in which

 Substantially reduces the risk of being
accused of deliberately hiding relevant
documents.
Disadvantages
 Predictive coding is not yet
a standard practice so there
is little certainty about how
a court or opposing counsel
might view it.
 Requires significant
attention from experienced
attorneys during the
machine learning process.
