What is an extreme environment An extreme environment is one where it is hard for people (or other forms of live) to survive. Extreme environments can be as vast as a desert or as small as a mountain peak.
How people react to extreme environments People react to extreme environments by changing from one environment to another. For example people on earth have 21% oxygen. On mars there is only 0.13% oxygen. This means that on earth you would breath in more oxygen than co2. On mars you would breathe in more co2 than oxygen. too much co2 would suffocate us.
