• Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879
in Ulm, Germany.
• Einstein was the first child of the Jewish
couple Hermann and Pauline Einstein Nee
Koch.
• In June 1880 the Einsteins moved to the
capital of Germany where Hermann Einstein
and brother Jacob founded an engineering
company Einstein & Cie.
