Induction bending by Barnshaws is an advanced metal bending process, offering optimum precision, efficiency and consistency. It is suitable for a very wide range of applications and completely overcomes the potential limitations of cold bending techniques, such as distortion and wall thinning. Straight pipe, tube or other section types are placed on a machine bed with a swing arm set to the required radius. The material is then hydraulically pushed through an induction coil at a carefully controlled and monitored rate. Heat of approximately 1000°C is solely focused on the area which requires bending, while cool air and water is sprayed on the area adjacent to the heated zone. The combination of speed, heat and cooling allows sections to be bent to tighter radii without cross sectional deformation. any radius, usage is increasingly broad in scope, including Electricity Power,
Petroleum, Chemical, Nuclear, Water Treatment, Mechanical Equipment, Steel Mill
and other related engineering field.

Used in pipelines where required turning or changing direction or crossing over.
The connection type is general butt welding.
 Processing Method of Bend Pipe
Bend pipe is manufactured on mid‐frequency induction heating pipe‐bender.

The standard Thickness according to ASME B16.9 & ANSI B36.10 B36.19M

SCH80S、SCH100、SCH120、SCH160、STD、XS、XXS and so on.
The special specified thickness also can be manufactured.

Any angle can be manufacture, it is confirmed according to the designning
or project condition.
10°、15°、20°、22.5°、30、45、50°、60°、75°、90°、150°、
180°、270°and so on, all can be bent.
 The Radius of Bend Pipes
Same as the Angle of Pipe Bends, can be indicated at any Radius. but should
≥3D. Because the small radius of the elbow can totally meet the production.
R (radius) like: 3D、3.5D、4D、5D、6D、7D、8D、9D、10D.,etc, Or specified
radius also can be accepted.
