Chemical Technician
Dedicated chemist with experience in the production of Active
Pharmaceutical Ingredients to achieve high purity yields in the time allotted
while keeping impurities to a minimal quantity while meeting deadlines.
Education background in instrumentation and research and development, which
includes water studies of the Milwaukee River for natural pollutants, Also
Food Chemistry to achieve high quality product with minimal time frame.
Professional Experience
Lab tech (05/2012- present) Cambridge Major Laboratories, Germantown WI
At Cambridge Major Laboratories, were active pharmaceuticals
ingredients were produced. As a Lab technician I was trained in cGMP, Buchi
Roto-evaporators, Thin Layer Chromatography, Extractions and washes of
solutions, acid base flip flops, making and using columns to remove
impurities and achieve the most efficient yields possible.
Chemistry Internship Milwaukee Area Technical College, Milwaukee WI
(06/2011-08/2011)
At Campbell’s Soup, during the eight weeks as an intern, I became
familiar with how a lab functions to aid and improve the quality of product
to achieve the most efficient yields possible. This was achieved by
calibration of equipment, for-instance scales, ovens and pH meters. Used the
HPLC, refractive index, and was introduced to Percent Solids to discover if
there is a problem and find out what needs to be done to complete production.
Chemistry Tutor, Milwaukee Area Technical College, West Allis WI (03/2010-
12/2012)
In the duration of my time being a tutor, I assisted struggling
students with their career as a student. In the process I gave insights on
how to be a more efficient student. We went through study concepts, preparing
for class, discovering how each student learns and present the material so
they can flourish
Dialysis Technician, Commonwealth Dialysis Center, Greenfield WI
(12/2005-09/2009)
In the Duration of my time being a Dialysis Tech, I was responsible for
the set up and changeover of four patients Station throughout the day. Some
of the responsibilities which include documenting vital signs, administering
some medications (mostly Heparin and Hypertonic Saline Solution) to aid in
the fluidity of the dialysis treatment. Last but not least, communicating
with the nurses when problems arise.
Dialysis Technician (11/2004-12/2005) Midwest Dialysis Center, Milwaukee

Education
Chemical Technician (2010-2012)
In the duration of my time as a student at Milwaukee Area technical
College I learned a lot of theory behind chemical reactions. Milwaukee Area
Technical College converted the theories and put them into practice into
instrumentation for-instance: chemical equilibrium; Common Ion Affect; le
chatelier's principle; Matrices. In the process of the transition, I have
learned: Titrations; Distillations; Thin Layer Chromatography; Mass
Spectrometry; High Pressure Liquid Chromatography; Gas Chromatography; Atomic
Absorption; Atomic Emission; Infrared Spectroscopy. To keep tract of the
statistics from the experiments, I became familiar with Microsoft Excel.
