Kelly enters Riley's building where riley works, the place
is busy with agents walking around making calls and at
there desk, Kelly looks around and then Riley pop's up
behind them.
RILEY
You're Kelly right?
KELLY
Urmm, yeah hi!
RILEY
Yeah yeah follow me, this here is
where we help people like yourself
get jobs and help get your work
into the right kind of companies
that would offer you the
opportunity to take your scripts
further.
KELLY
Mate I'd just like to thank you
for helping me pus- - (cut off)
RILEY
Look look, no need to thank me
okay it's my job okay, just like
you i'm going places and with you
we are going to take it to the
next level.
KELLY
tha-tha-that sounds great! but i
was wondering what kind of
companies will we be targeting
cause i mean the this script i
have here is gold! like thi- -

Listen! I'm sure your script is
'amazing' but what you have to
remember these companies like the
bbc, itv, channel 4 they receive
thousands and thousands of scripts
a day some probably better than
yours so we gotta start off
somewhere small.
KELLY
uhh.. okay like who though?
RILEY
Firstly as a writer you need to be
aware of the legal and ethical
consdierations, you know, so that
people don't steal your ideas and
blah blah blah
KELLY
Urmm... okay sure so what do I
have to do?
RILEY
Copyright, bias, censorship,
watershead, libel, plagerism do
you know all these things?
KELLY
Ye-ye-yes..
RILEY
Good! We've got to make sure that
you benifit from the script and
that no one discredits you.
KELLY
Sure but urmm do i have to pay for
things like that i mean of course
i know i have to do all of that
can't have anyone stealing from a
creative geinus like myself

KELLY

Anyway my best advice like i said
before start of small. We can
target these commissioning bodies
but we've got to make sure that
it's the right one, BBC three can
be a good start because they now
moved over on to online. There are
others like ITV channel 5 that
would be a good start but before
we do that we have to get your
script copyrighted. You following
me?
KELLY
Yes yes i am, I think it would be
best if started on bbc3 online
that would be a great start
RILEY
Yeah that would be a great start,
I will contact them for the mean
time look at getting your script
copyrighted okay?
KELLY
Yeah will do and again thanks

going to meet the commissioning

INT. MEETING WITH THE COMMISSIONING BODY, EVERYBODY IS AT A
ROUND TABLE WHILE KELLY IS PRESENT IS PROJECT
KELLY
I have an amazing project that I
think would benefit for the both
us.

5. KELLY (CONT'D)
The script i have here is about a
young teenage boy sharing his life
experiences in school telling the
story by his sub-conscience which
would be the sub plot, It would be
filled with a lot of humor and
relatable stories that young
people like myself can relate to.
This would be amazing for you as
you know the internet is
everything and you know young
people are getting everything
online so why not deliver
something extraordinary as this...
COMISSION BODY PERSONNEL
This sounds amazing but would you
exactly know the production
process this would take. You have
to remember to bring this to life
you've got to have the right
producers and directors that see
your vision, that would bring your
script to life in a way no one
can.
KELLY
Well ahh i haven't really thought
of that too far but given if i get
the opportunity and you take on
board this script I think we'll be
able to obtain a high level of
stuff we need to turn this project
into something big!
COMISSION BODY PERSONNEL
Yes, definitely surly you would
want some involvement on the
pre-production the planning and oh
we might have to change up the
script a little bit not to much
but just so that you know... it
makes sense
KELLY
Ahh ye-yeah urmm why not, I can
put together a shooting script if
i get the right people we can make
this work

Yes and we'll be able to set up a
shooting stage so that we can get
some shoots taken. I think this
