As a contract pilot as well as a Simulator Instructor for Boeing Training and Flight Services, Tilak Ramaprakash maintains a busy professional schedule. Splitting his time between India and the US, Mr. Ramaprakash dedicates his off hours to training as a rescue diver with PADI, the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. Founded in 1966, PADI seeks to help members like Tilak Ramaprakash pass on their passion and knowledge of scuba diving to novices in a responsible, accessible, and accountably standardized manner. Because diving has often been taught in highly irregular and inscrutable ways, PADI works to cogently regulate certification.
