There are many claims you already know about the best companies or brands. Many review and ranking organization gradually publish ranking of luxury brands and others. But today I have published just 10 fashion brands who earned goodwill by Royal Warrants granted by British Royal Family. All these 10 companies are succeed in convincing the royal people by their non-comparable product or service. It includes tailors, bootmakers, suitmakers, buttons and accessories suppliers and much more. There are many (around 8000) tradesman are awarded by Royal Warrants but it is nearly impossible for me to include all of them. So I just list out 10 of them and all these listed here are awarded under clothing, footwear and accessories category.

1. 10 Fashion Brands Awarded by British Royal Warrant

British Royal Warrant has been issued to companies or tradespeople who supply goods or services to Royal Family of UK. Around 800 Royal Warrant holders are listed in The Royal Warrant Holders Association. Royal warrant is a symbol of brand’s dignity and people trust all these brands for their excellent craftsmanship or expertise. Milliners, dressmakers and perfume designer, shoe or boot manufacturer, tailors and many others awarded by this warrant but government department, media, event planners I mean refreshment and entertainment category units do not qualify.
Generally Warrants are granted to companies or people who have supplied products or services for a minimum of five consecutive years at least. After five years Royal Household Tradesmen's Warrants Committee review it and decide for renewal. Lord Chamberlain is the chairman of this committee and give advice on granting warrants as well.

I think it is enough for building a foundation (preface) for this article, now I should come to the point. Here I have shared 13 British Royal Warrant holder brands which supply clothes, footwear in short fashion related items or services to British Royal Family. Let’s look inside….

2. 1: Gieves & Hawkes:
In 1809 warrants has been issued by British Royal Family. Today company have 3 warrants appointed to HM the queen, HRH the Duke of Edinburgh, HRH the Prince of Wales. Gieves & Hawkes is a one of the oldest tailoring company of the world. Company have great expertise in sophisticated tailoring perfect for British Royalty and military tailoring.
2: John Lobb Bootmaker
Royal warrants issued in 1956. Company is a manufacturer and retailer of shoes and boots for almost 150 years. In 1976 French luxury brand Hermes took over the John Lobb. Today John Lobb shoes are available in both ready-to-wear and customized as well. According to Wikipedia two warrants issued by HRH the Prince of Wales and HRH the duke of Edinburgh.
3: Austeen Reed

3. Austin Reed is a popular British menswear fashion retailer established in 1900. Today it has 70+ retail outlets with a large flagship store in London. Two warrants has been issued by HM the queen and HM the Prince of Wales. More than 100 years company deliver the most authenticate clothing to British people. Sir Winston Churchill’s siren suit was one of the most popular creation by Austin Reed. 4: Barrow & Gale
Barrow & Gale is known for its red briefcase used by the chancellor on the occasion of delivering UK’s budget. Company claim for UK’s oldest leathergoods maker. Company apply its own tradition of making briefcase and it attract British Royalty and people even today. Company is founded in 1750 and warrants has been issued by HM the queen in 1968.
5: DAKS
DAKS is a British luxury fashion brand founded in 1894 became popular for self- supporting trouser design (DAKS trouser) in 1930. Company have launched a distinct range of ready-to-wear menswear. Today DAKS has 2000+ shops in over 30 countries. Brand have 3 royal warrants of appointment by HRH the Duke of Edinburgh, HM The Queen and HRH the Prince of Wales and in 1956, 1962 and 1982 respectively.

4. 6: Ede & Ravenscroft
Famous tailors of London have 3 shops in the city serving people since 1689. Company offer clerical dress, ceremonial and formal dress. Ede& Ravenscroft holds warrants as robemakers of British Royal family. Today company have 3 royal warrants appointment by HM the queen, HRH the duke of Edinburgh and HRH the Prince of Wales. More than robes and clothing, company provide photographic services to Bullingdon club and Oxford University.
7: Firmin & Sons Ltd.
Firmin & Sons Ltd. Is a part of Firminhouse. It is established in 1655 and it is older than Bank of England. Company holds royal warrants appointment by HRH the duke of Edinburgh as a button maker. Craftsmanship for making buttons, medals, uniforms and accoutrements attract the British Majesty even today. The first warrants was granted by King George III as a button maker in 1976.

Hunter boots ltd is a widely famous Wellington boot brand based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Company manufacture rubber boots, bags, socks and other vulcanized rubber products for over 150 years. In 1976 company was awarded a royal warrant from HRH the Duke of Edinburgh. In 1986 warrant was granted by HM the queen.

5. 9: Kent Haste & Lachter
Kent, Haste and Lachter are three friends started this company with the aim of delivering luxury tailoring service to sophisticated class of British audience. Company was awarded by Royal warrants by HRH the duke of Edinburgh as tailors.
10: Kinloch Anderson
Kinloch Anderson is a family owned business established in 1868 have great expertise in Kilts, Tartans and other luxury Scottish clothing. Today company have more than 400 shops across the globe. Company holds Royal warrants of appointment as tailors and kiltmakers to HM the Queen, HRH the duke of Edinburgh and HRH the Prince of Wales.
