1. Also I used the
normalize tool on a
lot of my sounds to
make them stand out
and be dominant over
some of the
background sounds
e.g. the sound of rain.
In some areas of this piece, I changed
the level of volume. I did this so that
some sounds could be heard at a lower
level of volume while other sounds
could be heard from a high level. I think
this worked well throughout the piece.
Also, in some situations I decided to overlap
sounds. I did this so sounds could clash; either
different sounds or the same sounds.
I used the fade tool to also muffle some sounds
out. This was very useful especially when I
needed to introduce a new sound and a main
sound e.g. gunshots,
