Directions:
• Work in pairs. Decide who’s going first and practice
from Chinese to English or vice versa.
• Starting from the bottom word. Partner A begins by
saying the word. If Part A is correct, then he/she tries
the word above it, like climbing a ladder.
• If Partner A misses the word, he/she has “fallen off”
the ladder. Partner B begins from the bottom and tries
to climb the ladder.
• When it’s Partner A’s turn again, he/she will start from
the bottom.
• How to win? Whoever gets to the top first!
