Good morning, both Mary and I would like to thank QRCA for inviting us to speak to you today. As Women, we have a confession to make…before we went down this path “Of marketing to women” we thought that we knew about women – after all, we are women – but we were both wrong. We learned we had become as acculturated and influenced by the schooling, the business world and the generations that we both grew up in….so in a very real sense, we have been on mission, a mission that has brought us back to a place that we never truly left, a place where that “little voice” inside our heads has always resided – this is the journey we will be taking you through with us today. We have learned a lot from research (and we have many of you to thank for that), we’ve learned from science, medicine, anthropoligy, social sciences and most importantly from talking with AND listening to women – one thing we know without a doubt, those of you who research women, who gather their opinions and bring this information to your companies and clients have an awesome responsibility and an incredible opportunity. At no time in our history, have women had more clout and been more vocal about their wants and there needs….but there is still a lot of disconnects –today we hope to provide you information that will allow their true needs, desires and voices be heard
