1. A Heart to Serve
My Story:
I have been fortunate to live a happy, healthy and
fulfilled life.
My family taught me to love and serve others. They
continue to be an inspiration to me as I seek to
enhance the lives of those in need in our community.
One day my father rolled down the car window and
gave money to a homeless man. I asked him, “ Daddy
why did you give that man money?” His words and
actions on that very day exemplified the true meaning
of love for thy neighbor.
My mother and stepfather taught me the meaning of
passion through their every day actions.
Passion is the driving force behind all that I do to help
communities in need. Passion to me is making another
person’s heart happy.
My goal is to inspire, educate and empower
communities to serve. The gift of service is
beautiful and has the ability to transform lives.
