Project Name: BANKING SYSTEM
Client : Bank of Montreal
Organization : Tech Mahindra, Chennai
Project Description:
This is a 2-Node RAC architecture having ASM as the storage device. Project has
been developed to deal with all the internal banking operations and the external Customer’s
services. The integrated banking Automation system is designed to handle the head office and
the branch office transactions. At head office the project deals with employees personal
information, employees pay roll system, describing the policies related to customers accounts
opening / closing, the advances to its customers, bank reconciliation. The branch office
transaction deals with the opening of accounts / closing / with drawls and the deposits. The
branches are able to give the advances on their limits. Branch office contains demand deposits,
term deposits, advances, services, accounts, admin, communication, and modules.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Implemented 2-Node RAC with raw devices and ASM Library Interface.
Monitoring and maintaining cluster DB’s for their Optimal Performance.
Trying to ensure 100% availability of the DB’s.
Upgraded the database from 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4 by applying patch.
Good hands on experience on CPU patching.
Backup database using Datapump and export/import.
Taking backups using RMAN and Recovery.
Performed Database Cloning from Production to Test environment.
Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the Database through Stats pack/AWR.

of 2014 Humana has had over 13 million customers in the U.S. It has been well health care
provider in USA. It integrates claim data with customer, membership, provider, product and other
support health care data.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Handling day-to-day system and application problems.
Regularly monitoring health checkup of all production databases and preparing reports
accordingly.
Installation of oracle 10g/11g both windows/UNIX Environments.
Schema management, user creation, profiles etc.

hours, Calculation for standard deduction & net salary.
