The “Allies” had won the war against the “Central Powers” before it had even
started. The Allies consisted of the strongest countries; Great Britain, France, Russia, Italy,
Serbia, Belgium, Romania, and the United States of America. These eight countries were
four more than the Central Powers, which consisted of Germany, Austro-Hungary, Turkey,
and Bulgaria. The war between the Central Powers and the Allies lasted for about four
years, lasting from 1914 up to 1918. Even though Germany knew the war was going to be
tough, they thought well devised plans and ideas could eventually lead them to victory.
