Department Description:
This position is located within our Business Unit Automotive – Product Line CAI. The PL CAI (Car Access and Immobilizers) focuses on Immobilizers, Keyless Entry/Go and RF-Link products.

Candidate Responsibilities:
As Product Engineer you will be responsible for: • having product (IC) ownership in supply chain after release • defining and driving characterization and qualification of new products and document the results • supporting the ramp-up of new products • tracking and reporting of product performance with respect to cost and quality • ensuring product improvements in view of cost reduction, quality increase and technical related issues
Candidate Profile:
As candidate for this role you: • provide a Technical University or Fachhochschule (physics, electronics); • have basic knowledge of statistics

2. • have project management skills • have knowledge of quality management tools (FMEA/ DOE / 8D /...) desired • know and have experience in quality engineering, IC fabrication and IC test of advantage • have customer orientation • practice structured and analytical working method • show good communication skills • have English (solid level) • have German skills or willingness to learn German NXP (Semiconductors Austria GmbH) offers competitive compensation. This position is remunerated according to qualification with an annual total target of not less than EUR 45.000,- gross (due to Austrian law we have to state the legal minimum amount). Depending on education/experience higher remuneration is possible. Moreover, we provide attractive benefits to our employees.
