major and minor venues throughout
India and also in Mumbai, Delhi,
Kolkatta, Madras, and other major
cities.
6. Why concerts ?
It is fundamental for young artists to emerge
in major concert halls, shows and for the
press of these cultural capitals. Without
public performance opportunities, even the
most extraordinary talented young artist will
fail."
7. WHY IS SANCHU
ENTERTAINMENT NEEDED?
Because it is almost impossible for an
unknown artist - no matter how gifted - to
begin a career without a professional
guidance, and professionals rarely sign
artists who are unknown. New Talent,
however, does exactly that opening doors to
the professional concert and Indian stage
world for tomorrow's great performers.
8. HOW ARE THE ARTISTS
SELECTED?
Through AUDITIONS - but different from a
Competition. The participants are competing
against a standard of excellence - not each
other. The only criteria are extraordinary
talent, technique, and impact upon the
listener and also qualification in Indian
Classical music it may be Hindustani or
Karnataki, Western.
