What is Skin Cancer
The most common of all the cancers is Skin cancer. It usually occurs when the normal
cells start growing and multiplying abnormally leading to the formation of cancerous
tumor. These tumors can harm the neighboring tissues or non-malignant. BCC and
SCC are most common malignant type of skin cancer which disfigures the skin
locally. They also do not spread easily. Melanoma is a highly aggressive cancer and
tends to spread easily. They turn out to be highly malignant causing death if not
treated early.

The most common causes of skin cancer are:
prolonged exposure to UV rays, high level of X-rays
in contact with arsenic, coal, hydrocarbons in oil, tar
People with fair skin are at the greatest risk with problems such as sunburns,
People with problems in their genes such as depigmentation
People who have had already undergone skin cancer treatment
People with unusual moles, may be large, small
