Learning can be as close as your own backyard! Enjoy music and movement with hoops, scarves, instruments, and tumble-around play. Story time,
family jams, moving and singing encourage discovery and exploration as your children strengthen their ties with each other and you. Enjoy making

IN MY GARDEN for BIG KIDS : ages 3 to 4

We’ll buzz like bees, fly like butterflies and sing like birds to discover the hidden delights of our backyards through listening, singing, movement
and pretend play. Learning and delight are as plentiful as blades of grass ‘in my garden’! Enjoy doing a craft with your child during Gathering Time!

Tap your fingers, your hands, on the table, on your lap. Just say the word drum and any child within earshot will be ready to play. Our focus in this
class is drums, percussion instruments and music from Africa and South America. Enhance your child’s readiness for learning an instrument and moving
on to a Simply Music piano class. Includes crafts, snacks, story time and outside play.
SIMPLY MUSIC PLAY-A –STORY: ages 5-6 years
Mondays 4:15-5:00 pm (Melanie)
Adult in attendance. Home Instrument requirements: a keyboard/piano with pedal, touch sensitive, with weighted keys.
Monthly payments scheduled for 5th of each month: ongoing classes ($150/mo)
Play-a-Story is a musical journey in which you and your child travel through a storybook world. It uses the piano as its mode of travel, creating
sounds, melodies, harmonies and rhythms to express the story…literally, students create their own musical soundtrack. Using the piano, students
learn to interpret mood, color and nuance as the story unfolds. Play-a-Story teaches this by providing a foundational, systematic and creative
experience that harnesses your child’s intuitive, musical appreciation and interpretation. Every student is immersed in the culture of a world that
believes that music has the power to emerge naturally from within. The journey begins before your child ever learns to play another composer’s
music; they begin with the opportunity to discover their own musical ‘story’.
SIMPLY MUSIC PIANO CLASS: ages 6 -9

Simply Music Piano Class will have your child playing beautiful music at the piano immediately. At its core, it is a new way of learning to play piano
with the following 4 goals: that each student will experience a natural outpouring of music, maintain a huge repertoire, become a self-generative
musician and find making music to be self-affirming.
