Studio baru is an atelier that happy to bring passion and capacity for delivering creative and critical design solution.
We working together to provide services within the built environment and the natural systems that sustain us.
Our home studio based in Denpasar and we are part of CV. Karya Baru Sakawana family.
Studio baru represents the beginning of a new and regarded as better than what went before. Our spirit is to celebrate the beginnings, possibilities, and intention.
Our projects range in size from objects to private and public spaces located across Asia. Through the contemporary research and creative approaches, we seamlessly promote the
uniqueness and indigenous of the size with creative design process into a stylish valuable space.
We love to integrate tradition and the valuable of the site origins with contemporary approach to create an architecture, interior, and landscape design that have characteristic identity.
We emerge the space with elaborating the hamoniously ecological mindset into a valuable and unique design.

Desa Kita Villa is part of Tanjung Kelayang Special Economic Zones, one of Indonesia’s ten Tourism Special Economic Zones. The vilas area are
developed by The Darmawangsa Group.
The interior design of the villa are intended to create a place for re-connect with families that have a familiar and comfortable ambiance. The destination
space that embrace people to engage with nature to create beatuful impression and sweet memories.

Bali Dive academy create their new dive centre in Sanur, Denpasar area as an integration spot to all of dive sites that they manage around Bali. From this
spot, they will provide all necessary programs for the divers around the world before and after they do diving on the amazing dive sites around Bali.
The design has interconnecting space between every room program as the key approach for the development. This is as an answer from the requirement of
the client and user that need the public and semi public area are integrated seamlessly. We engaged both cultural and natural element with contemporary
touch that create the unique spaces to learn and manage the all relatable things with diving in Bali.
The development provide all necessary facilities includes office, class room and diving pool. All of them completed with all technical room support such as
dive gear room, workshop, compressor room, and laundry area. The reception have integrated design with the lounge and the office and also merchandise
corner to display all the related things with the diving activity for the customer to collect.

This is an almost full alteration house project were located in one of infamous housing complex in Denpasar.We bring the
warm timber works to soften the cement facades while also adding experience of shades, visibility, and sounds from the na-
ture.
Creating integrated programs for all semi private space in ground and first floor is the key project. Bringing in the natural light
and the visual of the raining is the approach that we provide as a gratitude of living in the tropical.

KAPPA SENSE UBUD

Set among forest along the Ayung river, this resort is close to Ubud, cultural centre of Bali. Kappa Senses Ubud is a series
of standalone pavilions within a shrouded forest, enveloped in morning mist, drawing inspiration from the spirit of Bali as
pictured by the first artists settling on the island, mystical - exuding the soft charm of a bygone era
with views of Ubud that never cease to be a source of inspiration.

This project is retrofitting the parking garage space to be a lab of a natural sourdough based - food production facility,
located in Sanur. Created by playing with the modules of materials to make the effective space for the bread maker
working with all the necessary equipment.
Baking Co. started to fill a gap in Indonesia where a variety of good quality baked Italian products completely handcrafted
with Pasta Madre (sourdough) are missing. They believe in sourcing the best ingredients, locally when available, to create a
community that will promote the quality of produce around. Quality is at the center of everything they do.

Further is a diffused boutique hotel nestled in a number of sites in North Canggu, Bali. At the footstep of Bali’s renowned
surfing hotspots. The luxury four-star hotel will function with some partner offering that are also open to the general public:
individual bussineses that create a synergy with the hotel, and exist with a unified architectural theme.
In addition to its hotel offering, further is home to a renowned eating hub, a retail boutique, and a captivating art gallery at
ground level, and a rooftop bar at the top level, for community gathering and events.

Located in the heart of Denpasar, this house blended local craftmanship and materials with contemporary building design.
The warm timber works to soften the concrete facades while also adding layers of permeability, visibility, and privacy from
the street.
Open plans in the living room and large sliding partitions designed to create seamless indoor and outdoor experience. Fea-
tured with carefully selected furniture, lights, fabrics from local and international designers this house created the desired liv-
ing and growing space for the owner.

Penida Beach Club offers an atmosphere of beachside bars and beach clubs including the best beach club on the island of
Nusa Penida.
The main building form of this beach club uses bamboo as the main material, where the design of the building is adjusted so
that every visitor can enjoy the sunset and sit down. All the wooden furniture that looks minimalist and comfortable, of
course, is fantastic.
Everything in this beach club has a very beautiful panorama. Penida Beach Club has a view of a clean and beautiful white
sandy beach with a view of the blue ocean that adds to the exotic impression.

As part of Daun Lebar Villas, we working with the community and assisting in the development and growth of the
surrounding village by supporting and using locally produced items where possible.
The location offers you a unique dining experience with a combination of flavors and techniques from around the globe.
You will find a variety of seating within the restaurant and a menu comprising culturally diverse dishes and the use of
elements from different culinary traditions.
The highest quality ingredients are combined with freshly grown vegetables and herbs taken from the Chef's Garden to
offer you fusion cuisine in a health conscious way both in preparation and the use of organic products. Not to be missed are
the traditional Indonesian favorites that you look forward to when visiting the island.

This private, traditionally styled holiday house is wonderfully positioned in Denpasar, a relaxed suburb in the city.
This House is located in the farmland. The buiidng is a 2 bedrooms with a large garden and a secluded garage.
The master bedroom is on the east side with en suite bathroom to embrace the morning sunlight. The second bedroom is on
the west side to enjoy the beauty the sundown moment.
